Hi, I purchased two of these 3-cord locks, and installed one so far, but it will not "grip" the cords and lock the shade in position. I have watched the video carefully and am certain I have the cord lock threaded exactly as shown in your video. What other things might I need to check to figure out why this isn't working? Thanks

So this might be annoying, but I recommend pulling all of the cords out and restarting from the beginning. The cords could have gotten tangled up inside of the lock and might be stopping it from locking. Let me know if this helps!

@@onlinefabricstore Hi, I have only two cords on there so it isn't really much to take out and do over, but its also easy to see that they aren't tangled or twisted together or anything. So what I did was go buy some much heavier cord. I was using some that I really like the look and feel of on there, but I was starting to suspect that maybe it was just too small or slippery to catch in the mechanism. (there's nothing on the packaging to say what size it was.) The new stuff I just bought is 1/8 or 3.17 mm, and it's definitely larger cording. I rethreaded the shade and cord lock with that and now it is working perfectly. Thank you for your response to my question, as it encouraged me to keep looking for a solution and now I have a working and beautiful roman shade. :)
