    Great stuff. I use QA1 products on both my race cars. I just put QA1 coil overs on the rear of my 39 Ford. The techs got me the right springs and shocks first try. My friend had a 65 C-10 that had a 71 Cutlass frame stub grafted on. This would be a lot easier, cheaper in the long run, and safer.

    I’d like to retain my 15” rallies on a 70 C10 and noted the fit against the tie rod was tight even without the spacer. For reference, what width and backspace were those 15’s in the demo (and tire size)?

  • @QA1TECH

    @QA1TECH

    2 жыл бұрын

    15” wheels with 3” drop spindles does require the spacer be removed for rod end to tire clearance which ends up being about ½” right at the edge of the rim. 2 ½” drop spindles will allow more clearance to the tire but the spacer still cannot be used. Stock height spindles can be used with the bump steer spacer and 15” wheels to achieve a 5” drop. 15” x 8” GM truck rally wheels (stock Truck Rally Wheel) 4” backspace with ¼” wheel spacer 3” drop spindles 255/60/15

    The new crossmember eliminates the contact points that are on the OE crossmember so the stops are removed from the upper and lower arms. New bump stops are installed on the shocks and the tether is used as a droop stop.
