Typical surface layer weak interpretation. Try harder. He’s an extremely intelligent character and hardly traumatised. The actor does a great job or portraying somebody who had experienced terrible things and used them to become stronger. If he is traumatised, he’s certainly not bogged down in it. That makes all the difference.
