Why do you prefer that looper over the boomerang?

The Aeros Loop Studio is more modern with touch screen, 6 tracks, ability to store your songs, easily accessible quantization features, more flexibility with play styles, WiFi updates and so many more things. The Boomerang is still good for what it does, but it's starting to age. Last firmware update of the Boomerang is from 2014! Meanwhile, the Aeros keeps getting updated year after year. It's also more practical for me when I teach, because we see the waveforms and bars on screen, so it's more tangible.

@@AntoineMichaudGuitar I need a proper looper. I do like the price of boomerang. Do you think the price difference is worth it as my first looper?

Hi Antoine, so I’m guessing a modulation pedal is recommended for your new ambient soundscapes course? I can get either the Ola or a Mobius for a great price where I am. Any thoughts? Cheers.

    Or a Zelzah maybe?

I would say it depends what your delay pedal is. I think I used the Ola twice in the course only, but it's because I used a lot the tremolo, filter, shimmer and LoFi delay modes on the Strymon Timeline. So if you don't have a delay with multiple modes, you could get the Mobius to cover all your needs, but if you do have something like the Timeline, the Ola is going to do the job just fine or even the new Strymon UltraViolet can give you many sorts of tones.

@@AntoineMichaudGuitar Thanks Antoine. That’s helpful. As far as my delays and reverbs go I’ve modelled your board so I reckon I’m pretty well stacked there. 😉 I ended up choosing the Zelzah earlier today as my ambient mod pedal. Looks really versatile and pretty easy to dial in a lush sounding chorus effect in addition to the phasers, flanger et al. Looking forward to the new course next week!
