    this is an incredible lesson - the painting when it's done almost looks like a magic trick where the human observer fills in the blanks.

    Thank you Mark! I have Patreon at the moment if you're interested. I share a lot of good stuff there, not just show and tell. I usually receive "you are the only one who explains why" feedback on my teaching style. It's only $15. Also, I would recommend, going through all the demos without preference of subject and even if you don't want to paint just listen. Honestly my biggest progress was due to lots of listening before painting. Practicing without knowing exactly what and why close to useless. Best wishes!

    Thanks Alaudin! No, not in a traditional way. I spray the back of the paper if it's from a roll and tape it with masking tape to the board. If it's from a flat pack (full sheet or half) I just tape it straight to the board. I don't paint too wet, and even if the paper buckles during the first wash it doesn't bother me. I don't like the traditional stretching, you tend to get too precious and lose spontaneity after all the pre-work you've done to the paper 🤷😉

    @nvfineartstudio7296

    6 ай бұрын

    Thank you! Yes, I do. It has green 200 number as thumbnail. One of the oldest. But, I have the numbers there 1 black to 10 white, this is what you see on grey scale tools. But, as we paint in watercolor from light to dark, I find it confusing, so count them backwards (not just me, haha). So now I use 1 for white and go down to 10 as black. I feel like I need to update this "200" video to be consistent.
