    Your channel is hitting at the right time for me. I've recently pivoted from copying tracks to making my own parts. Your series on church guitar has been great for picking up techniques and confirming existing techniques. Great to have some content about worship guitar building blocks!

    There is one other benefit to knowing the shapes. When the leader suddenly says I want to change from c to b flat, you can shift frets but still keep the shapes. Thanks for the inspiration God Bless

    I love your content, Rusty! I really liked what you did with your use of the guitars volume knobs to add dynamics and change between ambience, rhythm and lead! It made me wonder whether you are using a compressor or not, and if where in the signal chain do you place yours? Great videos, great instructions, great heart and the greatest God!

    Thanks for checking out the video. You can definitely get that sound from a multi effect pedal. I like to use small clean amplifiers and then add a couple pedals to create the sound. But it cost more money to do it that way! There’s so many, KZread videos on this topic. Good luck on your sound journey.🙏

    In our church, as in a growing number of churches, the sound guys don't want the stage volume. No amps. Just pedals.

    Help me understand. You’re rolling the volume back for the ambient sound, rolling it forward for the heavier sound, but I don’t hear it changing volume. It sounds like the level is the same on both. Which I like, but want to know how you do it.

  • @RustysWorshipGuitar2

    @RustysWorshipGuitar2

    Ай бұрын

    The level is close to the same when you roll it back, but the signal gets cleaner. And when you turn it back all the way up, it adds some grit back to the signal. Every guitar is different, but this works well with most guitars. Using an amp set clean and then adding overdrive to. It helps with this technique. Have a great Sunday.🙏
