How to Improve Surface Mesh Quality in Ansys Fluent Meshing’s Watertight Geometry Workflow
Ғылым және технология
This video lesson shows how to evaluate and improve surface mesh quality when using the Ansys Fluent Meshing Watertight Geometry Workflow. The Watertight Geometry Workflow in Fluent Meshing is a guided workflow designed to quickly mesh any clean watertight geometry. The guided workflow directs a user through a step-by-step process of simple, intuitive inputs. Behind the scenes, Fluent Meshing uses built-in intelligence and automation to create a high-quality computational fluid dynamics (CFD) mesh. In this lesson, we will understand how to evaluate surface mesh quality and use the Improve Surface Mesh task to improve quality, if required. We will also discuss other best practices such as adding local sizing to improve surface mesh quality.

I need the surface mesh to be of quadrilateral elements but i see no option for changing surface cell type from triangles to quads. how can i perform this action?
Hi, when I click on display to visualize the problematic area mine it doesn't show the area the grid appears blank. Why is that?
thanks
