From pdf not showing in my Excel (MS Office 2019 Plus) and I want to "import" multiple pdf files. Can you help please. I am aware of the single file workaround with "= Pdf.Tables(File.Contents....", but is is only for a single file. Is there away to add multiple files?

Thank you so much for the video. I also tried to use the same instruction from Microsoft help, but still encountered prob with the formula link given to copy-paste. However.. 3:05 My PDF file doesn't provide "copy as path" on th right click menu, can't also copy paste manually by "pressing Ctrl+Shift+C then Paste/Ctrl+V". Would be great if you could give some help with this issue.

Hi how about you try to right click your document. Select Properties > General. Combine these 3 info together: 1. Location 2. Add a slash \ after location 3. Type of file, for example .pdf in this case Example of the document path should be something like this C:\Users\USER\Desktop\documentname.pdf

Does not work for me. When I select Data\Get Data\From Other Sources\Blank Query, Excel freezes ("Not Responding") and it never opens the Power Query Editor.

I refreshed and I get a weird message : initialization of the sata source failed. it doesn't say if I can ot can not import PDF. Any clue ?

Thanks it worked for me but please tell me how do I select all tables (hundred of tables I have) in one go

Hi. I believe Power Query comes in handy for your situation. Try to search 'combine multiple tables using Power Query' in KZread. Hopefully this helps.

You showed us how to import one page. I have a PDF that is a big table that spans 13 pages. How would I import all 13 pages of the big table? Please let me know ASAP

Hey you should be able to import all 13 pages using the same method. You should be able to see all the displays of the 13 tables of your document after you finish the steps @4:15. You can select whatever page you want to load from there. Hope this helps!

When you load the PDF, you should see a list of all the tables inside your pdf. From there, you can select multiple tables you want to load. In this way, you can import all the tables in your pdf.

@@joycechong613 Thanks did figure this out. Tried doing multi select and then appended similar tables to create the consolidated data. Please LMK if there's faster way of doing the same?

You can use your own document haha! Any document can be imported using this method.

Hi, the steps are very clear but it doesn't work for me. After i pasted the formula, no table generate. I tried to change 1.0 / 1.2 as well, it just didn't run. I am using Office 365 :(

After you download the excel copy, open the excel & make sure you click 'Enable Editing' on Protected View. Then right click on the green row, you will be able to find the refresh option.

On step 2 it showing Datasource.Error this device is not ready?

Can you combine all your separate pdf files into one? Then you can proceed to use the same method using the combined pdf file.
