How to Illustrate and Write a Children’s Book : Part 4 - Get Feedback and Edit

Have you ever wanted to write and illustrate a children’s book? Me too. Come along and learn with me as I go through the process of illustrating and writing my first children’s book.
In Step 4 you will get feedback on what you have created so far. This is really important before you spend more time on illustrations. I think of it as the big edit. If you can find an audience the age your book is geared towards that might be the best feedback you can get. Next week we will start working on final illustrations for 2-3 weeks, then layout your book, then print. I still don’t know which printing company to use. Blurb? Mixbook?
Homework
Ask 3-5 people to look at your book and get feedback (get feedback from children if possible)
In the comments below answer the following questions
How can I help you with your illustrations?
What techniques would be helpful to show?
Where would you recommend publishing and or printing a children’s book?
