Can't thank enough I was searching for this since long
Wow, this contains exactly what I needed, in many places it was given that glycosidic linkage in sucrose was an alpha linkage I was confused why so then after watching I understand that they were wrong thank you so much
Hello Sir, I want to know whether the molar ratio of polysaccharides likages ( glycosidic linkage) can be calculated through methylation analysis. If so, how to calculate it?
Why not Beta D-glucose and Beta D-galactose during the formation of Lactose

See it's not meaningfull to ask why in this coz We named the structure which is a result of beta (1--->4) linkage between beta-D galacatose and alpha-D-glucose as lactose The combination which u r asking will form a compound(if at all it exists) whose name would be something else
