When connecting to your iphone it says “not your aipods pro 2” in some reviewers they said that it is fake when that word pop up, it should be “airpods pro” only

Who realised they just bought fake AirPods and being so excited to have some for so cheap

damn i was scammed

Also check the reported model number listed. I have seen cases that report model numbers that are Lightning connector versions, but actually have USB-C ports and vice versa.

thank you for your review, I'm not planning to buy original Airpods Pro 2 soon. I have been using high quality copy of AP PRO for 1 year now and it's performing well. Last week I ordered the Jenny 5.2TB and I received 2 days ago, I can tell you that it's so amazing how close manufacturer have gone to reproduce the original AP PRO 2. I'm very happy with them.

I wanted to try and get a deal and buy sealed Airpods Pro 2 off of eBay or whatever. But too much of a risk and instead just went ahead and paid the $200 while they were on sale from legit stores.

3:00 - the original logo has sharp corners where the bite is taken out of the apple; This particular fake version has rounded corners.

I already did a video on the V2 TB. It’s the same thing. As for the metal V2 TB, it’s the same as the plastic ones in terms of specifications. Only difference is the raw material used for the ear cups.

Siri does not work on my dupe buds. And also microphone not too clear during calls.

You should check if iCloud works. You can also test Adaptive Audio and Conversation awareness. Check if all 3 unique serial numbers match in the Bluetooth settings. Do the tap test when charging them.

Lots of great tips! You didn't show the charger port--my fake ones had a lightening cable rather than a USB-C, it was the most obvious sign they were fakes.

The Originals come in Lightning and USB-C. They were originally released in lightning, and they then released in USB-C in 2023.

Bought yesterday from Amazon and everything makes me think it’s original (the case, the interactions, the sound ecc) BUT the lightning led when charging. It does go off after I insert the charging cable, but when I tap on it does nothing. Is it really authentic ?

Issue resolved! Turns out, I had been using the wrong charger all along. Instead of the appropriate one, I was using my old Samsung USB-C charger, which only powered up the AirPods themselves, neglecting to charge the case. It seems it lacked the necessary power. I've since switched to the charger from my PC, which boasts far more strength, and now everything is functioning perfectly.

So my airpods i think are fake. I got them for 100$ on ebay and everything seems fake. But the cereal code checks on apple. What do you think?

They’re both good. V5.2 TB has a bit better ANC and Transparency mode. Though, v5.2 H2S Ultra has a perfect matte hinge. It also has conversation awareness (it worked from my testing)

@@Tradengineer just charge them. Plug them and keep them close to your iPhone. They will randomly update. You can't manually force them to update. Have you tried tapping on the case when charging?

If someone gonna buy them a second hand is practically impossible. That ruins a reselling them. My advice is to buy a new ones 😢

Only a few can be updated. Though, the updates of the clones don’t update the same way as the originals. They don’t automatically update when you charge them and they don’t have updates as often as Apple.

While charging, the orange light is always on (until done) a real airpod the orange light will always turn off after a few seconds?

I came across a weird one.. the serial numbers match up.. it even has warranty.. the led stays on while charging.. it makes a ding sound when it opens, the packaging was sketchy, I’m so confused lol

Good video. Just saw a guy selling Air pods for $20. I did not purchase it because according to this video they were fake😠.

Some great information here. None of the clones have real iCloud sync/hand off but some can connect simultaneously to multiple devices via Bluetooth. Is that a maximum of 2 items? My current ones only connect to one at a time. Do I need real ones to go from iPhone to iPad to Apple Watch seamlessly? I’d also say that buying second hand AirPods is very risky and probably not very hygienic. If you want cheap ones go straight for a good quality clone. Mine sound really good and ANC is excellent. It’s just the issue above that’s a bit of a bummer. If I get real ones I’ll spend the proper money and get them from Apple for peace of mind!

Some clones can switch in between up to 2 devices (iPhone or iPad). It can’t really switch to Apple Watch. As it’s not tested and optimized for the watch.

Yes, but the updates released for clones are not identical to the originals. Additionally, not all clones can be updated. Only a few version can be updated.

It is possible to tell. The whole point of the video was to help identifying one. One of the easiest way to identify an authentic one is by charging them and then tap on the case. This is useful if you plan on buying second hand in-person.
