How to identify a "RARE" Bronco

Everyone claims they have a "Rare" Ford Bronco, but what is actually rare? A Budd truck? A 1966 U15? 1966 Roadster?
Jimmy Golden takes us around a few of his rare Broncos and explains what makes them rare.

I had 66 back in 1970 with the 170 6 cylinder. It had two oil pumps, for going up hill and down hill and held 8 quarts of oil. It had three on the tree with high and low range.

I'm 61, when I was a teenager there was a PTO Jeep in the neighbors farm pasture. It had a trencher hanging off the back. It had a pipe rack and a tow bar on the front. I was told it was never plated and was a trencher it's entire life.

I learned a few things about Budd bodies that I found on my 11/65 U15. I always knew about the eyebrow grill and drip rail (rain gutter) behind the control pedals but I did not know about the short kick panel. It's interesting that the green U13 has a speedometer with tick marks under the numbers rather than on the outside (top) of the numbers. Might've been swapped out at some point in time?

Have y'all ever heard of a U.S.M.C. 67 Bronco ? I bought a 67 hardtop with a USMC nomenclature plate riveted to the dash. The guy I bought it from said he bought it from a military auction in the early 1970's I have not been able to find another one. It belonged to my scout master when I was in scout camp in 1974. Just curious if there are any more out there.

Yes there have been a couple surface. Does your plate on the dash look like the one in the video but stamped USMC? The Marines Broncos seem to be the least common of the 4 branches.

I was wondering if you would be interested in heading up to Massachusetts to do a story on the five Broncos that I have and the father and two sons bills that we are getting ready to start now. I bought my bronco in 1994 and it was rolled over the body was broken in three pieces and it didn’t run but it did have a 351 Cleveland out of a 71 mark one mustang and still does why don’t you come up and visit and I’ll show you the Broncos I sons are getting ready to stop building now.
