How To Host A Bridgerton-Inspired Afternoon Tea • Tasty Recipes
We’re mindful of how the current coronavirus outbreak might be affecting your access to stores and general grocery items. Please know that many of these videos were filmed before the outbreak and additional new videos filmed by our producers, working safely from their homes, may look and feel different than what you’re accustomed to. We don’t expect you to make all of our recipes now, but we hope you’ll find it a joyful distraction that’s entertaining, inspiring, and worth saving for a future food challenge or meal shared with friends.

I've never had an Afternoon tea before in my entire life! Please I wanna and love to experience it! 😭😭😭😭😭 Also, I love this video.
Very Nice video… you added many tips other videos fail to mention! There are a few things one should never do: Eat with your gloves on, though placing your fork and knife may look cute on top of your tea napkin… that is not the proper way to do it. The fork belongs on the right of your plate and the knife on your left. Jam/preserves, curds or clotted cream are placed on the rim of your plate with a knife, then added to your scon/scone halves. Thank you kindly♥️🫖

Absolutely do NOT leave your gloves on! They can be worn for pictures and social media before you dine, but never eat with them on or leave them out on the table. Additionally do not smoke, apply makeup or play cards while wearing gloves.
So elegant! Lovely
Ahhhh 🥰 👏 enjoyed every minute!!!!
Lovely traditional afternoon tea

Love it!!♡♡
Wow, looks amazing 😍👍😲😲
Lovely! I admit I rarely go for the full tea time, but even afternoon milk tea with a good cookie is so nice! (I usually make royal milk tea, which sounds fancy but comes together so quickly.)

Royal milk tea 😂😂😂 It’s just raw chai. It doesn’t sound fancy at all.
Dunno why I laughed so hard at "Lady Tasty" 😂
So elegant, lovely and unique ❤️😘
Isn't there an etiquette rule about not eating or drinking with one's gloves on?
I love you Recipes Tea 😊🤩😍😉🌹🌻❤💜🧡👏👏👏😘😘
I’m telling Lady Whistledown.

If you really don't hold out your pinky (thank goodness) then I wonder where that came from.

There are several theories, but the one we think is most legitimate is that the original tea cups were actually "bowls" or "dishes" that had no handled, so when drinking you would hold your cup with your thumb and forefinger, letting your remaining fingers float up, as balance.
Well I had no idea that actually holding your pinky out was considered rude!
Not traditional British bcz you mix with French
the scones are a bit... american and it’s poor manners to eat with gloves on. otherwise, this is such a cute little video 💗
