Hi Mike, You will need to remove the pocket, sew on the patch and then resew the pocket back onto the pants.
I am a beginner and I have learned so much from your tutorials! Thank you so much! I wanted to know if it's possible to embroider on sleeves (hoodies, sweatshirts) with the SE1900, I am having a difficult time finding a tutorial and I would highly appreciate any tips 🙏 Thank you again

Yes. I do have a video using the sticky stabilizer. Thought I would do another one with the plain one. You can use either stabilizer you want to use.
Can you use the spray adhesive and embroider on faux leather?

Yes you can. I recommend using tear away stabilizer.
