Hello There!!!! Welcome to my channel! I'm Jeanette and love making unique items using embroidery, sewing, and other great techniques!
My channel's mission is to build a community where viewers who love to embroider and sew can learn about different techniques. I also want to educate and help current and new embroiders who are interested in learning and developing great embroidery skills.
This channel is great for beginners and established embroiders. I share information about different techniques and also provide advice on how to run your own embroidery business. I believe that anyone who is interested in learning these skills can do it. I love teaching, and encouraging others to chase after their dreams.
I host Embroidery Happy Hour every Friday at 8 p.m. EST so I can share information and advice! It's a great community to meet other folks who share this interest.
Let's all be successful together!

Consider taking a speaking course at your local high school, saying ok, alright all the time is not good. Your looking for a reply your not going to get.
I am replaying and for some reason I dont see when you drop down on a menu. I am looking for the patch edge. 17 minutes in to the video. Thanks!
Did you say "Merly Patch"...can you give me some information on that - I want to do more double applique for grandchildren.
Can you use that hoop for continuous line quilting?
Won't it all come out since you cut the bobbin? Also you need a certain font to do this?
I LOVE the intro Jeanette!!! That’s amazing so sweet ❤❤ I think your very tech savvy just sayin…way beyond what I do!! lol Thank you 🎉
Thanks so much!! I'm trying!
Janette, I never leave comments on videos, but I had to give you a shout-out. Your tip on using double stick tape, along with sticky back stabilizer SAVED MY LIFE!!! No matter what I did, my registration was off at the end of my design because the lining fabric on the backpack I was working on are too slick to keep the backpack in place. The zippers on the backpack made it so that I couldn't use clips to hold the backpack in place either. I was about to give up and tell the customer I couldn't complete their order. Then I found your video--what a lifesaver! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Stevie.
Hi Stevie! So glad that video was a big help to you! Sometimes things can really be tricky to hoop correctly. So glad everything worked out! Enjoy embroidering!
So you got the snap down section to the 5” hoop. What about the snap down section to the large hoop? Or a smaller hoop?
I got the adjustable sliders for the other sizes.
It’s the digitizing. It’s not tight enough
Agree
Necesito que alguien me diga en español mi maquina de coser brother se 1900 no me deja coser se me frisa y me pone en la pantalla apaga y vuelve encender lo ago y sigue igual😊
You might need to take it to be serviced.
I LOVE the way the hat came out! So beautiful! Thank you for sharing. The shop is closed on Etsy so i'm looking to see if someone else made a similar hoop attachment.
They have their own website now. HatHoop.com
Thank you again Borica! I am brand new to machine embroidery. This was such a help to me. Thank you so much for sharing.❤
You are so welcome! Enjoy embroidering!
May his soul continue to rest in peace, Amen. Accept my heartfelt condolences.
Thanks! He forever will live in my heart!
Thank you so much for sharing!! I couldn't figure out how to change to inches. I love learning from your videos ❤
Happy to help!
I am been ripped of by Temu. I was expecting a huge refund but so far I did not get it. Oterwise I am happy with most thing I buy
Sorry to hear that happen to you.
Hi. I have a tote bag that has a stiff bottom like the one are showing (way way cheaper tho). i wanted to try a magnetic hoop, would you recommend that? I’m ordering the riser on Friday, I hope.
You can give it a try but make sure the fabric doesn't shift. Use sticky stabilizer.
Yes, thank you.
Thank you Jeanette for this Q &A. I like using simthread pre-wound bobbins and stabilizers but i am particular about NewBrothread self adhesive sticky stabilizer. I do a combination of NewBrothread polyester threads, Madeira rayon threads and mH rayon threads. Needles are Organ all the way with a little schmetz here and there. I have more of favourite colours instead of colour 😂. I love Brother Embroidery machines for their ease of use and durability. They are work horses too.
Thanks for sharing! I love my Brother machines too. My favorites feature is the scanning capability. I love their advance features. It makes embroidering so easy and fun!
Jeanette can I watch even though I didn't participate this time? Thanks for all you do!!!
Yes you can! It's for everyone!
JC PRODUCTIONS Take then to small claims court, or at least make then think you will. So Sorry. I used to do signs, t-shirts, crafts etc... & I didn't make them pay me up front But Now if I was doing business again I would be exactly like Jeanette. Pay up front or work won't be even started.
I agree. The only thing with small claims court is that it does that money to file and lots of time. You have to make sure that you have all your documentation. You have to be very careful on how you take and process orders. There are a lot of folks out there that are scammers.
Perfect!!
Thanks!
You nailed it. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks! So glad you found. the information helpful!
I enjoyed listening to you video tonight. Lots to still learn. Thank you for taking the time to do these for us. You have created a beautiful community and I'm looking forward to August 2nd video date.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the topic! I'm looking forward to Aug 2nd as well. It's going to be so much fun doing a well with my friend and showing off her talents! Her cups are really nice!
Very informative. Lots of things I haven't thought about. I have been embroidering for almost a year and I still struggle to price items.
Glad you enjoyed the topic. Running a business is serious and there is so much to learn. You will eventually learn how to price your items. It's takes time.
Good day to you. Enjoyed the video. I’m new to embroidering and was wondering if the information you shared about the the needles and threads to use with small fonts are listed anywhere? Also, what size font?
Hi! I did a video about the size font and needles. Here is the link. This will help you. kzread.info/dash/bejne/fZx5t8yLlcydqMY.htmlsi=cxWaSJgvCdKMuC9r
I agree with you about my sewing scissors. I have the cheap scissors for everything else and always screaming at my grandchildren don't use my sewing scissors .
Yes. Good scissors are not cheap. So we have to protect them :-)
I won the SE1900 and got it for free in 2022,
Congrats on your machine! That is so awesome! You are going to love using it! I love mine! I wish I got my free!
My serger almost made it out the window just yesterday. This was so helpful. Thank you.
Glad it helped! Hug your serger!
Very helpful from another old lady in contacts AND reading glasses 😂😂❤
Glad it was helpful! Enjoy your machine!
I just bought this yesterday from them also
Enjoy the font! The bigger sizes one out better.
What a fantastic video. Thank you so much for sharing this. I have finally learned how to do this. Have a wonderful day.
Glad it was helpful! Enjoy doing the double appliqué
Go team yellow!
I just love that color.
hahaha. You crack me up. it's FLOOR-E-AN-E. You'll get it right eventually LOL! Love ya Jeanette!
😁
I just got a Brother SE1900 and am binge watching your content. Do you know where I can find the hat hoop now-a-days? The link for the Etsy shop you have linked doesn't work anymore. And I can't seem to find one that goes with this model on Amazon. Thank you!
The company move off of etsy. Here is their link: hathoop.com
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts thank you!! 🩷 I'm learning so much from you. Still haven't touched my machine tho, lol. El miedo is real!
Adams Hats. Out of Dallas, Tx?
Don’t know where the manufacturer is located. I get them from a wholesaler located in Virginia.
Jennette I would like to know if you sell the blank baby blankets or do you take orders for when you are ordering them.
I sell them by request only. I post the link on the Facebook group.
Love this!
OMG, all this time, I didn't put 2 and 2 together. I didn't know that Ms. Nancy was your sister. I'm getting old. Great video!
Yes. We have done some videos together. Thinking we should do a sister channel.
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts That would be awesome!
Great video!
Thanks!
Hi Jeanette
Hi Barbara!!!
Blessed evening, Jeanette I have a question, its bean a year since you tried the plastic sheeting for patches. What is your opinion on it? Dose it last after washing and drying, and can you iron it without the plastic melting? Did you like the substitution for the polytwill? Thank you for sharing your knowledge and helping us at the same time. 💯🏆🥰🙏
Hi. It depends on how you are going to use the patch. If you are placing it on a hat it’s good. If it’s for clothes or something that is going to be washed a lot use the poly twill.
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts Thank you for your prompt response. I was thinking to use it on key fobs but wasn't sure since i may self haven done key fobs before either 😅
I always learn something new watching your videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge ❤
Thanks! So glad you are enjoying them!
Pinking shears ..all of them…are stiff in the hand. Why? I wish I knew
I’m going to try something and see if I can make them easier to use. I’ll video it and we’ll see if it works. I have a couple of ideas to try.
I use Hugo amazing tape for my thread spools, small, & large, works great doesn't take up much space, & it's clear
I'll definitely have to give this a try!
Yay! Good to see you!
Thanks!
YAYYYYYY THANK YOU! IT WORKED!!!!
Glad it helped!
Thanks for all the info!! Just recently subscribed to you and enjoy watching your great content. Only downside with this video, i couldn’t hear you as good. I had to crank up volume. Which makes commercials blow you out of the room. 🥹Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the sub! Thanks for letting me know about the volume. I didn't know. I'll work on it!
wow i cant believe it worked, was going crazy trying to change a design that i bought. thanks so much
You're welcome. Glad you found the video helpful.
Excellent tutorial! Thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
Will the patch shape that I buy from etsy works on the embrilance Essential?
Embroidery software reads all the embroidery formats so you will definitely be able to do this.
I've spent nearly 10 years rarely using my Singer Profinish serger because of hating to change thread. I found a Air3000 on Ebay for an affordable price for me. The auto threaders (looper and needles) sold me. Thanks for the comparison! Can anyone speak to whether the dust issue is improved in the 3000?
Glad the video was helpful. Enjoy your new serger! I'm not aware of a dust issue.
million thumbs up. I just opened my Serger for the first time and decided to cut all the threads and start over, just so that can do it by myself. I have looked at other videos on KZread and boy they left me all confused and frustrated until I found your video tutorial😜😜💡. I followed along and did it. Now I am confident about threading my Serger. Thanks a million for a well-done video. 👏👏👏👏👏. Shoutout to the cameraman as well, you captured every moment perfectly. Thanks guys I look forward to learning more from you.😜
Hi! So glad you found the video helpful! Enjoy your machine!
