I had my battery die on me while racing between home and hospital after my husband had a stroke. It was almost closing time and a snow storm was starting and I was burnt out and losing hope as I’d had one car problem after another. I ran into another staffer who happened to own a honda and he showed me how easy it was to open it. Then at a counter, the pieces started falling out as I had it upside down. The girls at cash bless their hearts, searched online to find out how it’s supposed to look so we could put it back together 🙏🏻 Later at home I found this video and was able to fix a small issue with a ie e on backwards and all is well!
Another old lady here who appreciates these simple and easy instructions.

thanks so much for this. Mine fell apart as I was opening it up and I almost panicked until you showed how to put it back together. Really appreciate your help.

Thank you very much. The quickest and simplest way you have shown the solution. Bravo.
Thank you so much! Your video was the third I watched. The other's weren't as thorough and didn't give me the exact info I was looking for. I needed help putting the whole thing back together after changing the battery because the little pieces and rubber part came out. I was afraid I'd do it incorrectly. But your video walked me through it step by step and made it so easy for me! Thank you!!

Oh my goodness! I have a dead remote right now and happened to stumble upon your page. Ordered the battery and I know I can do it myself. Thank you for the clear instructions.
Thank you!! You had the most detail in your video. Watching the other videos, I was fumbling with the plastic pieces for the buttons for a while. While taking the key apart, I was in a rush so I didn’t pay attention to how it looked like or where the pieces were. Again, thank you!! 😊❤ 🙏🏻

Best directions: Thanks. But please give more directions for replacing 5 (not 4) buttons now. This models is really difficult. The buttons fall out and don't have anything to hold them in place and the 2 half-size buttons were particularly difficult. So it took me forever... Your directions were helpful, but I had to place a bit of masking tape on the outside of the fob so the buttons would stay in place. Then fit the bracket over them all. When it was all properly fit in, it clicked shut. When the bracket was not perfectly placed it would not close. After several videos didn't even mention the buttons, yours was a charm. Thanks!
“It can fly out of your hands and this can happen… no problem!” Key in my hand immediately does just that. Had to laugh. But never to fear you saved us with helping to piece the thing back together. Thank you 😅

Sometimes youtube creeps me out. It didn't actually suggested this video. It suggested your latest video on how to tie the square knot. I had never seen your channel before nor had I ever searched for how to replace the battery in any key fob. I then accessed your channel and voila: a tutorial video on how to replace the battery inside a honda key fob that I had been planning to find. Coincidence? Maybe. Anyway, I'm happy to have found this video by accident.
Thanks so much!! As a little thank you, I ordered the batteries through your link. 😉
Thank you for these straightforward, easy to follow instructions!!!
Every possible scenario was considered when making this video. Very precise instructions ensured we can duplicate the process and be on our way. Thank you very much!

My tech illiterate mom needed her battery replaced and was planning to take it to an auto shop that was going to charge her 10$ for the replacement. Watched this video and changed it for her for free. Thanks for saving us the 10bucks!
Omg... I was changing my Odyssey battery out and had stopped your instructions to take it apart, and then the entire thing fell apart all over the floor and I was like @49&^*&^ and then very next part in your video was of course what to do when that happens. :-D Thank you!
I had a remote not want to work on the lock/unlock buttons. Found out the flexible rubber stuff had a metallic paint on the back side that would close the circuit on the tiny circuit board, it wore off from usage over the years. Had a roll of metallic tape for high temp duct work, cut out tiny squares and stuck them on the inside of the buttons. Truck is 13 years old, original remote. 👍
Perhaps one of the best instruction videos I have ever seen :)

I have a Honda Civic Si and if I have my keys in my pocket, the car will usually unlock if I just touch the driver or passenger door handle. It did not do that the last few days and I even had to touch the start button with my key fob to get the car to start. Changed the battery tonight though and I went out to my car to check if it worked and it worked like a charm. Thanks for this video. Really helpful.

Well I always knew I wasn’t exactly a brain trust, but on the other hand I didn’t think I was a village idiot either. Until my Honda told me that the battery in the key fob was low. Now I’m pretty sure there’s a Village looking for me out there. I cannot thank you enough. Your video was clear, and concise. Still I had to watch it three times. But if it wasn’t for you I’d be sitting at the side of the road still…
