Спорт

How to hit topspin on your tennis forehand - windshield wiper technique. In this lesson we break down the topspin forehand technique and how players like Rafael Nadal manage to create such mind-blowing rpm on the ball and teach you in detail the windshield wiper motion you will need on your forehand to take it to the next level.
Download our FREE forehand guide here - www.top-tennis-training.com/f...
By getting more topspin on your forehand you will be able to:
- Get more control on the ball
- Create angles and get your opponent running off the court
- Slow down the speed of the shot and make the ball dip into the court
- Hit more hight over the net and create a difficult bounce for the opponent
- Let go and accelerate the racquet while staying consistent
We dissect all the technical elements of the windscreen wiper forehand and give you a drill you can do in your tennis training with your coach to improve quicker. Video by Top Tennis Training perfect for those player who want to learn how to get topspin on forehand in tennis and how to hit forehand topspin.

I'd love to see a video on the 2nd serve. 1) I'd love to be consistent so I can avoid double faults and 2) I'd love to be able to hit my second serve with enough power or spin (kick or slice) that it doesn't put me on defense from the start. @@TopTennisTrainingOfficial Hi Simon! I've always wondered about how top players decide on their equipment like string type and string tension. Sometimes on a bad day I would hit the ball out a lot and I wonder if using a polyester string or tightening the tension would've made any difference? Would love to hear your thoughts on that. 😊👍

@@TopTennisTrainingOfficial Hi Simon, thanks for your feedback! I'm new on the channel, so i haven't seen yet all videos, but i think a good one could be about the shoulders work and positions during the shots, and in general some little tips to facilitate the correct movements (e.g my teacher told me to watch parallel to the net to hit better my backhand). Thanks a lot Francesco

@@TopTennisTrainingOfficial As probably a lot of players like me do, I like playing against opponents that also give the ball some pace and topspin. I find it then that we both are actually playing TENNIS. But then I get to play against someone who just plays dead balls, I mean without any pace. It´s not necessarily a pusher or a moonballer cause they are able to give some placement to the balls, it´s just that they ball stays low, without pace and topspin. And that throws me completely off - timing, legs, technique... and I end up beating myself. This has hapenned to me recently and I was very upset about it. So I was wondering whether you could make a video adressing this topic. Basically, the shots that are not played as they should be played throw me off and all then goes blue, as my style is an aggresive baseliner, Im not a huge fan of coming to the net).

I also liked the video. More simple tricks to slice and kick serve would be nice. Also something for seniors like me. How to set your feet in serve, when the body does not turn/rotate easily. Also something for doubles play. We love to play doubles two times a week (if we are five, one is resting and the server goes out). Our ages are from 60 to 83 years. We have moved inside, because outside is quite cold in Finland. Volleys also interest me. I myself started to play at 69 years old. In couple of months 3 years tennis practice.

another top video, what I am not sure is about the timing. Facing the player from behind , what is the angle of the forearm and what is the angle of the racket at contact. I think I achieve more top spin when I angle the racket at 45° pointing to the ground. Sometimes in your videos you have it parallel to the ground sometimes you have it angled. thank you!

@@TopTennisTrainingOfficial Thanks for everything Simon! I came across your channel during pandemic as everyone in my city (Charlotte, North Carolina) has really picked up Tennis and I've been sharing your videos with a lot of friends. All very helpful! I love your straight forward approach to instruction. It has helped me right away! I have some video ideas: comparing cheap racquets to more expensive ones... what should I look for at different levels?, Breaking down the pronation part of the serve extremely in depth (where I really struggle) with possibly some slow motion on just that part, how to get more control on inside out forehands (i.e. how to control where those shots go off of contact), how racquet tension can influence your shot and why do ATP guys carry multiple racquets? / why do they decide to switch racquets? The best way to scout indoor courts in your city (with winter coming), any more drills you guys can think of involving just one player and a caddy of balls. If you had to play tennis from scratch (start over with no skill) and only had a few weeks before your first tourney, how would you prepare for it? I will definitely think of more...
