Thanks for this 👍. I figured out, tail end of last year, that if I focus on the front edge of the ball at address instead of the back of the ball, I was more consistently getting that ball/turf strike. Without knowing it, your video might just have explained why it was working. I've a high handicap and really appreciate these insights.

From a prolific chunker, who knew what was wrong and tried all sorts of things...... Thank you for this drill. It has really given me the consistency I was looking for. I added about 15 to 20 yards as well, but really all I wanted was to eliminate chunking. The fact I can do this before the shot, on the course, is a gift. Taking the 30 seconds to do this, clam down and get that feeling in my legs and hips, priceless.

Thanks Pete. Simple drill. Going to try it today. One thing I'd love a video on is sand / bunker shots for distances between the 'fairway' and 'greenside' sand - so for shots between, say 100 and 50 yards. I feel like there is lots of coaching tips for fairway and greenside sand, so I have an idea what to do. But but in-between those 2 techniques I get completely lost and either chunk it 5 yards, or thin it 150. I live in Dubai, so as you know I need this shot a-lot!!! Many thanks for the videos mate.

Adding this drill to my tool bag... Iron play is the bane of my game right now. So, sticking with irons, I'd like to see more about ball positioning for different clubs in different lies. The only club I don't really worry about ball position is my 7i--right in the middle of my stance. But every other club is hit and miss...pun intended. Cheers, Pete 🍻
