Having recently watched the irons vs. driver video, my first thought was that you needed to move your right leg back more on your normal driver swing... But it seems that for you, increasing the swing speed, or "going for it", just helps you open your body up automatically, come more in-to-out on your swing, and adding more push from the ground helps you too. Nice video.

Congrats on getting to 100k subscribers. I'll be putting the driving technique into practice and try to get 230 yds....I'm normally at 200.. And I can only dream of 280😊

Hi Ali, when I get more width, which I get by keeping left arm straight in back swing as long as possible, I find my path is better and all shots are longer. Can you please look at doing a video on width and see if trackman can show us why it is better.

Have always found that when I try to swing with control my distance improves. However my head wants to hit it harder and that's when a send it all over the lot. Go smart video.

For me, when I feel like I swing "slower" its really more relaxed and way less tension/effort and for me that equates to longer, straighter drives.

That is the key. You loosen up and stretch muscles more than when tight gripping and ripping, resulting in more flexibility. If you find Shawn Clement on KZread. He has transformed my game completely.

I can hit my 6 iron on the fly about 180 metres. Driver can only hit about 230 metres or less sometimes and others longer but never really long. I think my driver swing is all over the place compared to my iron swing.

@@AliTaylorGolf I am 72 and I play almost every day. I hit the ball further than any of my friends and there is no way I can go past 240yds. I played with a 25-year-old athlete the other day and his clubhead speed was way faster than mine. He never got one past 260. Like I said 3% could do it the rest of us are out of luck.
