When you build furniture you often put lamps and other things on top of the table, desk, or end table. The problem most of us run into is that there is often an outlet far away or we don't want to see the lamp cord because it distracts from our woodworking project or furniture. If screwed into the socket on the lamp how do we turn it off and on?

it functions just like a normal light. the power source is just the battery inside vs. the wall outlet

@@HowYouCanMakeIt So the on/off switch on the lamp will power the bulb and you can cut the cord off at the base of the lamp?

Yes you will however need to twist them together to complete the circuit

Unfortunately, your wife may be disappointed (as I was) to find you only get 2-4 hours of use before it needs a charge. How do you charge it? You put it into a light that is plugged in. 😐
