    Such great! Info! I've had digestive issues for many years and now realize that the biggest piece I've been missing while searching for the silver bullet root cause that the most important piece is the ability to ground into my resiliency and process stress and experience joy in my life. I've been doing a neuroplasticity program called Re-Origin that has been extremely helpful in rewiring those negative loops and let go of fear. Highly recommend for anyone suffering with chronic health issues.

    I second Immunoglobulins (and possibly real colostrum (pasteurized according to research) to actually repopulate gut. Many have reported healing MCAS 80% with it). I'll be getting some from a farmer in 2 days. It brings my gut back from the brink every time, even if it doesn't stay optimal it keeps it from spiraling out of control.

    These were very informative and well done. Thank you! I sadly missed the possibility to send in Q/A. I would've asked; what do we do if every time we try to add foods back in we get constipated due to LIFO (large intestinal fungal overgrowth) / SIBO. How does one approach this scenario? I have issues with oxalates, salicylates, histamines, amines, Celiacs, MCAS, +++++. It's so difficult to find anyone knowledgeable enough who can help and aren't just after my money.

    I can’t believe she didn’t mention SIBo, SIFO and its different branches. 73% of IBS is caused by one of those. Todd Mansfield at Byron Herbalist is an expert. He works out of Australia though but he has lots of helpful videos on KZread. But the bacteria needs to be treated. You can’t just diet and meditate your way through SIBO. I hope you find your answers! I am in this misery with ya brother. I went to my doctor the other day and she never even heard of SIBO. So now I’m being referred to a specialist and I guess we’ll see how that goes. 🤞 ✌️

    Can fecal transplant help with severe mental health issues? I have severe, long-treated anxiety and nothing has worked.

  • @TheScienceofSelfCare

    @TheScienceofSelfCare

    8 ай бұрын

    Thank you for your question. I’m so sorry you are struggling with severe anxiety that’s been unresponsive to treatment. That sounds incredibly difficult and frustrating. There are actually many studies that support the idea that fecal matter transplants are an effective treatment for both anxiety and depression. I’ve read some papers on it being a great option specifically for depression that doesn’t respond to anti-depressive drugs. Below is a review that looked at many different studies: “All studies found a decrease in depressive and anxiety-like symptoms and behaviours resulting from the transplantation of healthy microbiota.” (Citation below) This is probably one of the most interesting and exciting areas of research, in my personal opinion. I’ve noticed in myself that the state of my digestion and what I eat impacts my mind SO much. Today I have been having a bit of a depressive day-I now frame this as a “state of my body” rather than a sign there’s something wrong with me. This has made it easier for me to think of the ways I can shift my physiology. This is a topic I would love to explore further. I really appreciate your question. Sending you a big hug. 🧡 Chinna Meyyappan, A., Forth, E., Wallace, C. J. K., & Milev, R. (2020). Effect of fecal microbiota transplant on symptoms of psychiatric disorders: a systematic review.
