    Yes, get straight to it, be direct and doing it is so much better than avoiding it. I've found the longer I avoid it the worse it is, too. You always give such great information.

    Hey Riaz, amazing topic! Great point that generalization hurts every conversation. I tend to be really direct, and that can hurt people. I also believe in-person works the best, rather than texting. I do make this mistake time to time, even though I know what to do. Yes, everyone thinks they are right. So on point!

    hello hello!!! we usually try to see everything from the other person perspective and try to base our 'answers' during the conversation on facts, trying to avoid feelings :)

    Share, retreat to process, and address again. There are times when after we have both laid out our thoughts that we'll take a step back and process the information, essentially letting us absorb what's been said and getting past the emotional responses to logically talk about it. Sometimes it takes 10-30 minutes, sometimes a day.
