    People keep overseas assets and brokerage accounts even after returning to India. This is to take advantage of depreciating INR against foreign currencies. So, I think they still transfer money as they need even after coverting NRE/NRO to resident accounts.

    For people with OCI cards, I don't think converting to saving account is possible. We are required to maintain NRE/NRO. Do you have a different experience?

    Hi Hemant ..good information for OCI who will live in india for longer time what kind of account he should maintain? Regular savings or Nre/nro? If i will continue to have Indian salary going further from my employer

    After moving to India on OCI you will be doing all practices what and Indian does except those 3 things which I explained in Video.....so normal saving account

    If you have already aadhar and pan then you can continue using it.....if u don't have then apply for new one

    How do you manage foreign phone number ? It will be costly to keep alive your foreign number.

    Once you permanently moved to India foreign phone no not required as OTP culture is more in India and still you want to keep it take minimum package for incoming e
