    How are the applique pieces sticking to the background before they're sewn? I didn't see any pins, but they're definitely not moving or falling off when she picks up the square. These are terrific videos & she uses an easier method than the classes I took.

    Thank you for the close up view of tucking in the flag. This was just the instruction I need for my applique. I ordered a cotton fabric paining of the Nativity Scene, and the person cut it through the middle of the scene! I need to piece two images together to make a complete scene.

    what if the pieces are laser cut and there is no fold to come up through?same way but just stick to the edge?

    Those polka dots can easily be substituted with bindis. It's easily available in India and any Indian store across the world.
