From one silver pour artist to another…. Cool stuff!
Thanks for preaching safety
I spilled a few drops of molten aluminum on my arm , at work, once. I brushed it off as fast as i could. There were two small, deep holes in my arm, but it didn’t hurt. It was so hot (1,350-1,400 degrees) it killed the nerves instantly. I touched a piece that i thought was cooled off, but wasn’t. That hurt really bad for about 5 hrs. Can’t be too careful with that stuff, unless you’re ok with getting disfigured.
I have the same Toauto in my garage. I poured a bunch of silver last year but haven’t found the time yet this summer (bunch of remodeling in the house). Thanks for the tips and the laser is awesome!
Seekers Microphone is so good, my volume was way to high for that intro😂😂😂
Shared this out on my channel this morning, we were talking about your making my first channel bar.
I love the name of that thing..... Laser Pecker "4".
Hey Silver Seeker! Big Fan of you and Silver Dragons. Great video! But when you messed up and cussed I laughed so hard to the point that I was tearing up. I replayed the clip like 10 times and died. Thanks for everything you do!

ROFL I'm glad you enjoyed the vid my friend. :)
Awesome sharing on your pours and equipment!
it's amazing how fast that solidifies!
Hi Silver Seeker. I appreciate all that you do for the silver community. I use a laser engraver at work. What I do to reduce scorching around some images is I use blue painters tape over the item I’m engraving. I don’t how it would work on silver but any bit of information helps. Thank you for the content and I look forward to your next video.
Very cool! Your pours are looking great!! Cheers!!!
Son of a silver nugget!! Nice pours!
Awesome thanks
I’ve been thinking about doing this for a while but just haven’t pulled the trigger. I may try it soon now that I’ve watched what you did! 👍
Marvelous...A Jack Of All Trades!
Great Job Seeker!!! you can tell you are getting better at pouring 👍👍🤞🤞 they look great! and you know i love the laser 💜💜💜💜
Looks like fun
Very neat info
Wow that is fantastic. 😮 Sure, do enjoy your channel. Keep up the good work. I'm a subscriber to your channels.😊
That bar turned out dope. Very cool set up. I have been wondering how it works and now i know. Thanks for sharing. 😁👍🏻

I think the snake on your bars should be an American rattlesnake, not an Indian cobra.

I mean, fair enough but snakes are snakes to me. :)
Nice pouring Seeker! I like how you poured yours nice and leveled where the maximum bulge can be. That takes skill where often mistakes happen!
THATS REALY COOL !! THANKS FOR THE VIDEO

awesome video!@
Cool deal
Awesomeness always wanted to know how it’s done, wish we had poured bars in Australia like that 🥰
So cool. I want to do the same. But at first with iron plates, because its cheaper.
Silver Seeker, Great video. I am looking for and forward to a laser. With my back and designs I am hopeful. If your ever going to sell the 3rd gen I will but it. But I might have to get that 4th gen. The shroud is a shame.
✌️😜 Outstanding content as Always Brother ✌️ God Bless us All ⚔️🇺🇸✝️
Nice. Do you then polish it and remove the black? Would love to see the finished product. I pour bars but that laser is next level!!
Am I the only person that reverted back to the 5th grade and giggled when he said the printer's name?
Now for a really unique pour you should do a pour in a Ant Colony 😃
Molten metal is no joke
Please show front and back when you do the gold bar. Thanks.
sheesh-i can barely pour 1/8 oz. jig heads out of lead-great job with the silver-always seem to some problem with the heat on the molds
👍
Thanks for not editing out the imperfect pours! It's an art. Is your quench water just tap or distilled?
@SilverSeeker

Tap
Level the surface 😮 maybe that’s why my bars look so ugly 😅
Wow ! Cool video. I was wondering do you make your own molds our do you have an outside company make them ?
@SilverSeeker
11 ай бұрын
I buy them. I don't have a cnc machine nor the skills to use it lol
waiting for the "MEGA Pecker" before I commit! hahaha interesting video
Will the laserpecker 2 do this?
It was really cool to see the entire process. Awesome work! Thanks, Seeker!
Those bars!!!!! So I assume you'll be selling these right? Want to know 😊😊😊
I want to see how you did the back. Is that in a future video or have you already shown that before?
@SilverSeeker
11 ай бұрын
I've shown it before actually but you can see the finish product for that one on my website at coolstax.com and by entering the serial number ssdtom-007
only improvement I could say is it would be mucher nicer to level out the back/front of the bars and make the flush & even, and the more polishing/hammerin or overall much more intensive finish the better. I prefer stamps or pressed bars, but the laser is cool that you can pick literally any design & it can be done quickly & make it much more efficient.
Your Molds needs to be Much Hotter to lessen the bubbles on the backside :)
@SilverSeeker

Not sure how to get them hotter I had the torch on them.for a lot longer than shown in the video they were dang near glowing
@cosmiccreations888
11 ай бұрын
just a very simple Map Gas Torch stands is what most people use as it is usually left under the flame fo 4 to 5 minutes and yes I think your bubbles was from moisture es caping when hotter mold will remove moisture Before and silver get poured@@SilverSeeker
@SilverSeeker

@cosmiccreations7124 aye I agree I figured the same I was a little surprised because without the light on the molds were dang near glowing lol. I'm still learning so bound to make mistakes here and there, I'll try to get them even hotter next time. Also need to get a torch stand. :)

All in Good time My Friend Yes you are Well on Your Way !! :) :) @@SilverSeeker
Cool.. do you lose or burn silver off when you laser engrave? I’m guessing you do but it’s not enough to matter much
@SilverSeeker
11 ай бұрын
I've done a before and after weigh before and it's never made a difference so if there is a loss it's miniscule.
why is there like a blue shatter effect on the exposed sides of the pour ( @9:55 )? That looks sooooo dopee
@SilverSeeker

I'm not 100% sure I wonder if it's the minerals in the water I quench them in. The quench pan is also copper so maybe that's it? Sadly unknown but yes very cool. :)

Can i use the LaserPecker 4 for 100g silverbars and also 10oz silverbars? Is it only possible to use it for 1 oz Silber?
@SilverSeeker

You can use it for many things including large Silver bars yes. There are even attachments so you can engrave onto Metal Tumblers etc etc.

@@SilverSeeker Thx a lot. Thats great. I will collect metal bottle cap on the streets at first. To test the machine. But i will order it in the end of the year.
The cost and energy you used to melt the Silver is more than its inherent value. 🤷🏻♂
@SilverSeeker
11 ай бұрын
And your point is... what? "Inherent Value" is irrelevant. You can view the ocean on your TV Live... so would you argue that the cost of going to the beach is more than its inherent value?
@SlickCat
11 ай бұрын
@@SilverSeeker My point is silver is 28 dollars an ounce. The electricity you used to melt it down, laser engrave it, along with the time you spent is a loss for you. 🤷🏻♂
@SilverSeeker

@@SlickCatthe time you spend going on vacation is a loss, so is eating out at a restaurant here and there instead of making something cheap at home. So is going to see a movie at the theater instead of waiting for it to be streamed at home for free or way cheaper at home just months later. But we all enjoy doing those things occasionally because otherwise life would be boring. What I'm trying to say is that if you enjoy doing something then there is value in that. The little bit of loss incured becomes irrelevant at that point. Thanks for watching my friend.
@DevineAbyss

@@SlickCatAn artist (especially a painter) will have to buy paper, paint, brushes and frames. Then he will "waste" the paint and paper and wear out the other things. None of the things have more value after the painting is done, unless someone values the actualy painting. Something different in his silver pouring is that his works actually have value, no matter how much he would mess up or how ugly they become, because the material is inherently valuable. None of his around 900 dollars worth of silver was lost in the process. Only the energy and some wear on his equipment. So I'd argue he could sell his works for a much higher percentage of his cost than any bad painter could. But yeah, he said it's mostly for fun. Flying drones or going on vacation also does not increase your net worth. Neither does owning a comfortable couch or a nice grill. Most things in life don't serve the point of increasing our wealth. A comfy life and hobbies that you like are also important. It only happens to be that his hobby has some proximity to stacking/investing. If he only cared about minmaxing his stack it would likely not qualify as a hobby anymore.
My girlfriend says i have a lazer pecker too..
What's your electric bill? 😬
