You're welcome, I am happy to hear that the video helped you. Yes they can form corms, the batch that I grew in May from seed did. I didn't get to see that batch flower, it got too warm outside for them but they are supposed to flower the first year from my understanding. They are coming back from the corms and I am looking forward to seeing them bloom.

Hello I ordered some of these seeds from a reputable company. However, the Persian buttercup they’re like little tiny white balls is that accurate? I can’t find anything that matches what these seeds look like.

@@carriesgardeningchannel856 I don’t think so I will go check the package and see, I’ve already planted them so I’m gonna see what happens. I followed. The instructions said that the soil needed to be between 50 and 60° before planting.

It sounds like the seeds would have been pelleted to me. You could try calling the company and describing the seeds to them, see if there wasn't a mistake.

Hello Carrie, I sowed my ranunculus seeds on December 1, 2022 and I covered the seeds with vermiculite. I may have water the seeds a little too much, but I hope this doesn't stop them from sprouting. I didn't use stratification like you did or covered my seed containers to block out light. I placed the seed containers on my basement floor because it's cooler. The temperature has been between 59-62 F degrees. I am wondering if I should put the containers in refrigerator for two weeks, what do you think? The ranunculus seeds has not sprouted.

Hello Althea, The 2nd batch I didn't cover the containers, I just put them on the shelf in the greenhouse out in the open an they germinated. Being that the seeds where not prechilled before planting they probably are taking longer to germinate. They can take up to a month to germinate. I've never put seed trays in the refrigerator so I don't know what to tell you to do. I don't know what would happen if the seeds where starting to germinate and they where put in the refrigerator.

Hi Carrie, Here is a update on my ranunculus seeds, they sprouted, 93 out 110 so far, It took 10 days. The seeds sprouted on the 11th of December. I am so happy they sprouted and are growing daily. The ranunculus seeds sprouted on the same day of my lisianthus seeds, which sprouted too. Putting the planted seeds in a container on floor did help, it's the coldest area in my basement. I reuse meat containers that are aleast 3 inches deep to sowed my seeds. After a few weeks after germination, I transplant the seedlings into a cell trays or small pots or disposable cups. Hello Althea, Excellent, I am so happy to hear that your ranunculus seeds sprouted for you and are doing well! Mine have their true leaves so they are being feed, that video is coming. I frequently reuse meat containers for planting seeds in then I separate them out.

How can I get Ranunculus seeds?
