Hello Gardening Friends and Welcome To Carrie's Gardening Channel Page. I'll tell you a little bit about myself. I started gardening in 2003 after a trip to Florida in 2002 where I fell in love with tropical hibiscus bushes and other topical plants. In 2003 I just had to have a tropical hibiscus bush, by the end of the season I had 3 of them. I went to the school of hands in dirt trial and error on gardening. I was given some coleus cuttings I believe that year and I was hooked. I enjoy botany and growing my own plants and veggies + flowers + herb gardening. Just about everything that I grow I grow from seed unless you can't grow it from seeds. I have also competed in flower show competitions since 2012 and have won well over 106 awards. In 2017 I won a best of show award for a container of caladiums that I started and grew myself. I also do flower arrangments and work with dried flowers. 3 of my growing specialties are Tropical Hibiscus Flowers, Fuchsias and Begonias. I garden in Pa.
