Nice video. A quick tip: if you need 15 cut bottles for the demo, you don't actually need to show how to cut 15 bottles? Just one will actually do?

When they grow up
I normally just buried them in the ground, but I think this is the easiest and fastest way to plant ginger. I will try it next time. Thanks for the awesome video.
Don't take me wrong, technique is great. 3:23 pay attention to the ginger 3:35 watch the differences of these ginger. It appears to me that these ones are grown first. It would be great to see the same ginger that you showed us from the beginning until it grew roots. I'm using the same container to grow potatoes.

In with rhe ginger and turmeric we are going to grow peanuts & potaoes, with some bits of other veg & tagetes/coneflowers and lavender all in the makeshift greenhouses around the garden outdoors in uk winter; looking forward to seeing how well that develops.

Is it possible that they started with baby ginger (since it looks like it hasn’t formed skin) then it grew the skin along with the roots? This is why we need words not pointing and terrible music while we sit here and wonder. Lol. Don’t know which type of useless video I disdain more, shorts or the pantomime instructibles

This one has been the most detailed on how to get them to root and plant. Can you explain how to know when to harvest? Was that straw/hay you pun in the soil? and What did you sprinkle on top of the soil before watering it? How often to water? Thank you :D

I think he used rice husks on top of the soil as a soil protection to keep it more moist and maybe less warm during the summer? The straw I sed on the sides seems to prevent soil from spilling out of the crates. Just my 2 cents, hope it helps

I watched another video from Texas...his were planted in the soil ...they grow long green leaves which are also good for you and can be used in tea . When the leaves were quite tall , he just moved the soil underneath and could see the ginger....it doesnt grow far beneathe soil...you can pull up clumps as and when needed ....if you plant the ginger with its shoots directly into the soil you dont plant deeply ...just cover a little with soil .

@@bobflep this past week, I noticed something growing in the pot I had put a few pieces in months ago...I thought it was a fail, but when I did leaf identification app, it came up with ginger. It only has like three leaves and it looks a little brown on the edges. I'll just keep watering it and putting fertilizer to see if it will produce anything 🤷♀️🙂
Cách trồng trong nước trồng tại nhà hay lắm cám ơn đã chia sẽ chúc thành công vui vẽ like
Maravilloso
That's an amazing and simplistic guide.. no measurements either. Have you a video of where you harvest your ginger; it'd ve interesting to see that. What are you adding on there at the end? Can we use hemp mulch or strulch ionised straw? Or both! The bed is being prepared with raw compost & the ginger will be grown inside it's own makeshift greenhouse. Rocking it 😎 Let's hope they start to grow lil shoots out soon.
