I was planting with bell pepper seeds i think red bell pepper. I didnt know a few fell in my lemon plant...suddenly it grew fast, it even past the lemon plant. Now i have mini bell peppers growing on the plant. I am so amazed how this happened. I'm excited to follow the growth until my bell peppers get bigger.

I do the same make my on compost

I did the same last year, make sure the seeds are from either Red or yellow bell peppers as they will germinate. Seeds from green bell peppers will not germinate.

@@violaatilano4190 Green ones are not mature enough, their seed will not germinate. The different in colour comes from how long stays in the plant. Its not a different type

Miss Jess. Yes but cost about 7000 grand to get all legal work done. And tons of money for supplies. Took 3 years to break even. And 12-16 hour days. 6-7 days a week. I made it. But do not expect to make good money unless your doing it illegally or put tons of money work and time into it.

I did the same - used garden soil from a garden centre, too. Zero sprouting going on after a week, though. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? The soil is moist, with a lot of light and never any cold temperatures. I pushed the seeds down about 3 cm deep. Only thing I can think of is that the soil might be bad. Does the fertilizer really do that much?

You shouldn’t use just regular soil. It has to be seedling soil because the babies can not handle any fertilizer. Seeds need fertilizer only after they are established. Try again with organic seedling fertilizer. Hope that helps!!

los pimientos viven con altas temperaturas, en promedio 20 grados incluso para germinar.! así que, por ejemplo, los planta en febrero en interiores,esto en españa! tardan dos meses en crecer y las pones al aire libre cuando no se congela ... recuerda que con temperaturas por debajo de +5 grados ... mueren a 99x100 !!! temperatura ideal 18/30 grados sol, y dar agua según sea necesario, entre otras cosas si los mantiene a una temperatura constante de 18/30 durante todo el año no mueren porque estas plantas ,,,,,,,,,,son perennes.!

I literally just threw mine in soil and water and sat the pot in direct sunlight and it germed within 3 days. I’m in Arkansas so the humidity level is known to be crazy so that possibly had something to do with it. Hope this helps.

I do not treat with any chemicals. Seeds with good conditions will germinate quickly.

I started my seed indoors last year.. Had really good crop this year.. still have some outside in the garden right now and it’s October..

Plant them 18 to 24 inches apart in a sunny, well-drained spot. Pepper plants need at least 6-8 hours of sunlight per day. Mix compost or other organic matter into the soil when planting. Water immediately after planting, then regularly throughout the season.
