Hey! They tend to be pretty sensitive about pH. The yellow leaves is chlorosis, typically from an iron deficiency and too high of pH. I’ve got a big tree growing at 35% and when I don’t water it enough, it droops, but that leaf chlorosis is related to pH. Target 5.5pH and use organic fertilizer. They’re a fast growing super leafy plant so their nitrogen and iron needs are high.

Thanks for the advice! Ill will see what I can do to save them at this point. This footage is almost a year old and my trees are looking pretty bad and the meally bugs really did a number. But im going to give this a try! Thank you!

How long do they take to grow a fruit? Like the estimated growth rate?
Very interesting experiment! I was surprised how quickly they sprouted and grew so tall.

Me too! I thought it would take a lot longer
Those first two leaves are called cotyledons. They sustain the sprout until it can feed itself. That´s why they are so thick.

I love that kind of content! Do you have in mind to grow real vanilla orchid? It's vanilla planifolia and it has to be polinated by hand to get the vanilla pods. It's fascinating. It would be awesome to see a video like this one but with vanilla 🤓

@@TechplantChannel will do, from seedlings I like use plastic bins with a blue gasket that you can get at Walmart. Otherwise in my living room I have a spare closet. I have plans for wire shelves and replacing the door with a clear shower curtain.

I never do but some people swear by it
What do you do with all your plants? Do they just hang out in that grow spot and you kinda chill in there and nerd out with em? I’m not teasing or anything, I do the same with my little “aquarium room”. Just curious what do you end up doing with them all especially since it seems a lot of yours are like exotic or what not.
Im gonna try and plant them now do you think a green house would work if you want them outside ?
It seems like the trees are social so if there’s if there’s a duo instead of a group or squad they grow slower

Thanks, Im trynna start a chocolate factory. I hope to be able to grow it in a special growing room or smth. I am located in finland, so I naturally have bad English.
What soil did you use ??
I gotta try this but I need less plants that are like, full trees. The ficus is becoming enough of a problem lol
How much times do you water them for each day?
Would these methods give the same results for snake fruit seeds too? I was doing the moist paper towel method and only got the little nubs to appear as well but at least they didn’t rot like yours. • I’ve recently put those same seeds into soil. Do you think they will grow even after the failed bag method?

They might, Im not familiar with those seeds so im not sure
the first leaves are called the cotelydon

Hello, I live in a tropical country and our cacao trees produce fruit in about 2-3 years from seed! But they are planted outside and not in pots.
What happened to the seeds you put in the ziplock bag? Did they mold to death?

I have a question about Lemon trees. I was told I couldn’t grow a producing lemon tree from Lemon Seeds. Is that true?
@masoncoats1478
Жыл бұрын
You should actually be able to. As long as you live in a place that stays hot enough year round. Only thing is the lemons won’t be identical to the fruit you got them from. I would recommend just buying a tree so you know your fruit will be good quality.

They are tropical. I don’t think putting the seeds in cold temp is a good idea. I’m growing a few, including a mango tree and banana tree - all in my Pennsylvania apartment. Try Neem spray to keep the bugs at bay or window stickies to try the insects.
