This is a click bait, those "babana seeds are not fully developed, thus they are not the actual banana seeds and dies not look like one. An actual banana seed is supposed to be round or irregular in shape(depends on variety), black and bigger than a black pepper corn. Bananas nowadays mostly do not produce seeds as they are cultivated for consumption and to have no seeds.

Well even though you are right about the tree being from seed, the seeds in bananas have been domesticated and have become infertile, which means the seeds are not fully developed yet. :)

Well a couple of them went in too deep, and germination rate for bananas is low. They need very specific conditions and are very hard to grow.

@@ronena2476 Germination rate varies between seeds/plants and even between supplier, banana plants germination are low but examples of higher germination rate plants would be radishes, lettuce, grasses, your common weeds, etc. There’s much more but these are the common and well-known examples. Germination rate individually also depends on conditions, you have to put your seeds in their proper conditions for them to sprout. For example, some seeds require a dormant cold period before planting and sprouting (a “winter”). Temperature and drainage are also key factors.
