    If you cut the plant from top they will easily regrow. But if you want to divide the plant you have to divide the tubers. Thank you very much for your comment. Please check our other videos too. Let us know if you have more queries!

    Hi Deepak, very nice and well explained video. I have some taro that has sprouted but its December and it's very cold here and may not warm up until April. If I start the plant indoors, can I transplant it after 4 months and still get a good harvest?

    Yes you can but the growth is limited. You cannot expect them to be very tall. And also you have to water them frequently to keep them healthy.

    We planted the tubers 2 weeks ago. ( they did not have the sprouts) watered generously. No sign of life till now. The tubers are hard and not rotten. What could b the reason that they r not growing yet?

  • @myalivesoul

    For every year they regrow so hopefully you can keep them for years. All the best and go ahead..! If you have freezing winters please take the bulbs out and store in cool and dry boxes and plant them in spring. The frost made the bulbs rot and decay. Be aware..!

    How do I ensure my soil has enough potassium?

  • @myalivesoul

    @myalivesoul

    Compost made from banana peels has shop amount of potassium. If you just put a raw banana peel in the soil be careful your plant might get fungus and insects. Only use compost made from banana peels
