As a groomer Assistant I'm telling you that you do a really good job at everything you do and once a month is perfect I've seen people bathe there poms and other double coated pets 2-3 times a week and they wonder why there dogs skin is red and dry. honestly you are so good at what you do that if I didn't see this video I would've thought you took her to a salon she looked fantastic DIY style Is the way to do it :)

@@stephanieedwards8222 she got daisy from a regular breeder that is licensed so I'm sure it was at least $1200 or maybe more because daisy is full breed Pomeranian she even got health guarantee on her so this was a really good breeder that cares about all there dogs and puppies they have

She is totally in love with her mommy! Her big love bug eyes every time she looks at you, Daisy is adorable! So spoiled and loved she’s living the good life. 💖🐶🥰

I love that you actually scissor her at home instead of shaving her. So many people don't know how much damage shaving a double coated breed does! And I LOVE that you used conditioning shampoo! You do so great with her!

my dog did it too so i bought her a lil tub and fill it with ice and leave it out on hot days. and it's like her fav thing to do. And a few days after introducing her to the ice tub, now she just sits in the bath and doesn't try to leave anymore.

I work at a grooming store and I watch the groomers all the time. You did a really good job! I would recommend some good thinning shears if you want to soften any marks from the scissors. But other than that it was good!

I came to the internet to find out how to lightly scissors-trim the back of my Mittel Spitz's legs just so he doesn't get poop on that hair, and I swear I went through 15 different videos of people (supposedly professionals even??) shaving and clippering their Poms or trimming them so close all over with scissors that they look like a chihuahua. FINALLY I found your video where you PROPERLY groom your Pom! AND you showed me exactly what I needed to know with the hind leg scissors-trimming. Your dog is beautiful and you take great care of her and you are so talented with making your videos, thank you again!

Adorable video! Love how much love there is in this video. ☺️ My only tip is when the bath water turns soapy, use the shower to rinse her at the end so the shampoo water doesn’t get back on the fur coat.

So this is how she's fluffed so much over all she's just very very cuddly and adorable.

My pom Oreo is super calm and relaxed in the bath - she actually tends to fall asleep in there and it’s so super cute!! 🐶💘

I love the relationship between you two! It is just so sweet. The best advice I got upon receiving my Pom was to teach her to love the brush! Make grooming a pleasure for the pup and she will be so much easier to care for. So glad I got the word early. Love your tips. Never trimmed mine but am ready to try and love your stress free approach.

I know I'm a bit late to this party, but a tip I use when I trim my two poms - if you get a pair of layering/feathering scissors, after you've made your initial cuts with the regular scissors, go back over them with the layering scissors. It makes the transition/edges of the cuts look more natural and makes their coat edges flow into each other more naturally :) Daisy is adorable, I wish my two were that well behaved during bath time! 😂

Not hate, I love you and daisy so much, and I can relate cause I have a Pom, but please be careful. When she was in the bath tub, you kept holding her legs when she stood up on the side. Pomeranians legs are so fragile, it could have bent the wrong way. I never want daisy to get hurt! Much love, Maddy.

Daisy is calm & enjoys her BATH because her owner is calm, steady & has been shown much LOVE. When your dog trust you completely, the pet will respond calmly, non aggressive such as treated. GOOD JOB! pet & owner!

I also have a pom and I groom her at home too! I got a grooming kit off Amazon it has 3 types of scissors and a comb! I highly recommend it makes cutting my pom so much easier than if I were to use kitchen scissors!

Uhhhhhh...not to rain on your parade but Pomeranians don’t care about chandeliers, decorations or ornaments lol.😂 She’s a beautiful Pomeranian, do you play with her a lot? What poms love more than ANYTHING is for their humans to play with them DAILY and take them for walks! I bathe my Pom too, but never more than 3 times a month at most (usually once or twice) because don’t want them to lose their natural oils too much. He’s all black with a little white on his face and he’s my best friend in the whole world. I love him so much. He’s actually cuddling with me getting belly rubs as I watch this.

She’s a great dog during the bath and blow drying and cutting the fur she’s so spoiled I can tell she loves you

I love how you care for her. I can tell you really are a generous caregiver. I want a puppy but I will be a first time dog owner so I’m still researching what dog would be best for me.

i know this video is two years old now, but I have a thick haired dog and what I do is take a small bit of warm water in a spray bottle, add some shampoo, shake it up, and then spray right in the fur so I make sure to penetrate both coats. when you apply the shampoo right to the skin, you can risk some of it not getting rinsed when it's in a thick clump. you take such good care of Miss Daisy, it's wonderful to see an owner so dedicated!
