    Hey thanks just set up my new board :^) definitely a learn as you go thing as well and the hardest thing I would say is trying to cut cut it cleanly and evenly. Some of the grip tape went a little high and low on me as I cut. But im pretty proud of how my first time doing it went and again thank you for the help it was tremendous.

    As a skater of over 15 years who doesn’t have a mob grip wheel or just one of those single wheels on a hand axle, I still only get perforated grips cause bubbles suck

    I just ordered 2 skateboards from CCS and they left air bubbles.... I had to regrip it myself

    I ordered 2 and I put the option for them to apply the grip tape and it came not gripped

    @@smitty097I did the opposite and my board came gripped and it was such a bad job too lol that's why I always ask for no grip application because I had them do it once a long time ago and they screwed it up so when I ordered this time and I didn't even ask for the board to be gripped I specifically asked for it not to be and they still did and it was all cut up too they did this big gouge out of the side as well which sucked. I think their website has some bugs that need to be fixed that's for sure

    Hey if your talking about independent trucks they would not fit on a 8 size board cuz the axels would stick out.

    I just gripped 2 boards for the first time and I could never get the cut part to go smooth it would just cut a little then get hung and looks horrible no matter what I used blade or knife lol what did I do wrong..

    @@intune3866 so I did another one recently and this time I grind down the edges more with the screw driver like grind the hell out of it then slightly lift up on the edges and cut .. that helped some lol

    I use Shorty’s black magic grip tape , been skating since 2001 trust me it’s the best in the game, just make sure you have $ for shoes lol

    Use a utility knife that holds the razor and protects your fingers, seriously dumb when I see u skaters recommending an open blade
