Updates; the 747 route is no longer operating, the 16 bus does a similar route to the 41 and the fare has gone down to €2 for adults and 0.90 for children

First time I went to Dublin, took a taxi, was about €35. Get a LEAP card if you want to use a bus, DART or LUAS. Well worth the price as discounts are automatic.

You forgot about the 16 bus

Great info but you really need to invest in a decent microphone.

How long do you think it will take to get from the plane to the bus? Would an hour be enough time?

More than enough. It depends on whether or not you need to collect checked bags from the carousel, that'd probably make the time from plane to bus about 30-45 mins. If not, you'll be able to walk from plane to bus in about 10-15 mins.
