I strongly agree that listening to the happy and contented purrings of our furry felines greatly reduces personal stress. Especially when they do it during the time I'm getting ready for bedtime. I have one cat on each side of my body with their purring motors engaged, and my third cat rests between my legs. I may not be able to move and am pretty much immobile from that point on, but I don't mind 😅😅😅

My two cats like to come cuddle with me in the mornings, making it even harder to get up! At night they generally sleep either on my bed somewhere, on the chair next to my bed, in the “cat cave” on the floor next to my bed, or on the perch opposite my bed with a good view of the hallway (unless I’ve gone to bed too late, and they’ve already settled down for the night on one of their sleeping spots in the living room… but even then, usually they’ll migrate into my room during the night). Nikita waits for me to wake up, then comes to give me good-morning-I-love-you headbutts and settles down to purr and sleep on my chest, and Harvey wedges himself in right next to my pillow to nuzzle against me and get chin and head scritches. Such a nice way to wake up (and then often fall back to sleep again 😸) 🥰 Last night they took it in turns to wedge themselves diagonally-to-horizontally next to me, so I kept waking up boiling hot and confused about why I couldn’t move, and then trying to find somewhere to put my legs 😸 not quite as sweet as the purry good mornings!

I gave both my cats a massage while watching this video and they loved it! My tabby Pillow loves attention so as soon as I clicked on this video she jumped onto my seat and watched with me. My tortoise shell Snack can be picky about being pet, but she was super into being massaged. Thanks for sharing, will definitely be massaging my cats more often.

I also feel relaxed when my babies purr...that being said, my sweet little baby Gizmo loves to purr near my face, which I love, don't get me wrong, it's just that she also dribbles when she purrs so you can probably work out the issue 😅😂🤣😏🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

The frequency of the cats purr is such that is meshes with ours. That’s why you feel good. When they want food, they purr at a different frequency, the one that drives you mad! My cat will do it on my chest, and after a few mins, I get very agitated. This is a weird out of synch frequency. Clever buggers.

Hey congrats on your new kittens! It will be a magical experience during the first few months. So the cat tree was actually custom made. I was planning to potentially work with the artisan that helped me make it to make the tree for my cat store - thecatbutler.co/, but the artisan is unfortunately out of business and the shipping carriers have made shipping it cheaply impossible (Requires a freight truck - 100+ pound package).

Amazing video. I also own a ragdoll, and they are the most loving and cutest cats. One question, your image is superb, what camera and lens are you using? 4K footage looks super crisp and sharp, to me it looks like 8K or 6K downscaled to 4K.

Its just like us sometimes with get diarrhea, their long hair sometimes blocks their butt area and then its a mess. So trimming helps a lot!

Sometimes I almost fall asleep while brushing my cat 'cause of her purrs being so relaxing 😅

Amazing video!! Just remember people, don't over stimulate your cat!! Just like humans, if you overwork the muscles or nerves, one moment could feel good to extreme pain. But your feline friends will let you know when to stop. Just be aware of their reaction.
