My son's channel got terminated and he never received any emails from KZread stating there was a problem. Not no strike one or two, just terminated. He uploaded maybe 4 videos of him playing video games and it was completely pg. If there was a problem they should have notified him through email 😤 so basically they've discouraged him from his dream of being a KZread gamer. Great job youtube 👏👏 kill a kids dream.

Unfortunately this is becoming more and more common. YT arbitrarily decides that a channel has violated its rules and takes it down without any notice to the creator. It is very sad. 😢 Sometimes the violation is a simple copyright violation, but YT decides they are a repeat offender and good-bye to the channel. I do have some other videos that discuss copyright and fair use more if you are interested. Some of the videos are fun and interactive. You and/or your son might want to watch them. So sorry to hear about your channel. I know it can be very frustrating when you put so much work into your channel and then to have it taken down without any warning or reason. 😭 KZread has really been cracking down on anything and everything that doesn't abide by their rules and guidelines - AND lately it seems they are not even giving the creators notice or a chance to correct their mistakes. Since I don't know what your channel was about I could only suggest several reasons other channels have been taken down: 1) excess copyrighted material; 2) too violent; 3) they didn't like the name of your channel (which I doubt is the reason); 4) they didn't like the name of some of your videos; 5) spamming other channels where you try to re-direct people to different accounts; 6) do you live in a European Country; 7) etc. Latelyn I have been referring creators to Reddit to see if they can help get your channel back. I have had my channel terminated with no warning for repeatedly criticism of Trump and his supporters, at no time did I attack anyone personally except to call them idiot's, its true I used bad language but not over the top, strangest thing I can still access KZread and I've started a new account can this be reversed, I did apologise and promise not to comment again

Hi Ian. Thank you for your very helpful content. We are a non profit organization and an animal shelter and our youtube channel shows the every day life of the dogs and cats in our shelter. Suddenly all our youtube videos (more than 2000) turned yellow without the option of a manual review. None of our videos violates any guidelines. I am trying to talk to youtube and explain to them that our videos do not violate any of their guidelines and that this is a mistake on their part but they keep sending me an automated response that we have too many video violations. The channel has not been terminated however we cannot monetize any of our videos. We really do not what to do since youtube isn't really looking to help...

Hi Ian, Do you know how long a person with a deactivated account has to appeal before an account is deleted? I know someone who has mental health challenges who has been very discouraged and I am wondering if it is too late for them and their content is deleted I can’t seem to find this info anywhere, so if you know, that would be amazing! My KZread channel was terminated for supposedly violating copy write rules. I had two violations over two years ago, which should've fallen off, and then the 3rd was issued on 8/1. Two of the three "strikes" were from people who don't own the copy write. The 3rd was a Late Show with David Letterman episode, that was reported by World Wide Pants. They flag me, but don't go after the thousands of other clips on KZread?

Hey Ian, I may have a unique case. I got my first takedown request on my account and I knew it was false but panicked, I made a takedown request in return in an attempt to get their attention. My account was thus terminated. I tried to appeal, I reached out on youtube creators, both times I got a no and was supplied with a pretty curt reason. "Your request has been reviewed and I'm afraid that your account has been terminated for submitting abusive legal requests and will not be reinstated." I really want my account back but am at a loss for what to do.

My channel was suddenly suspended right as it was about the 10 year anniversary and thousands of subs with no warning or strikes prior. I've been going through months of the appeal process and gotten into contact with some trusted flaggers for guidance but without much success. Even recently had a very long forum post on the youtube community forums and it's a very long story detailing the current situation (I can link the forums if you want). Do you think you can help out with my case?

Ian, This is great information. We are a church in NJ (North Shore Fellowship). We post our weekly sermon video on KZread and link to it from our website and social media accts. This week we were terminated, for no reason and without any warning. No email notification, no suspension, just terminated. Very discouraging and frustrating. We went through the online appeals process and filled out the form. No response yet. We are a very tame, uncontroversial church with no extreme views or topics. I can';t think of anything that would cause us to get flagged or much less terminated, but that's what happened. Can you help? Thanks so much.

Ian Corzine Hey sir! My account got suspended by KZread! I have no idea why because it was a new account. I had done nothing wrong! I commented on someone elses’ channel asking for a sub for a sub. Is that a bad thing? I’m just over here crying! KZread needs to understand the feelings of humans. What if someone made blogging their career? Please i hope you can help me. I have been waiting for a response to my appeal but i have gotten none! That channel’s name was Melanin Qween Please.

My sons channel was terminated after he reported many channels that had blatantly used his videos without contacting him or even saying they weren't their videos. He hadn't checked if anyone had done that in a while, so when he looked there were lots, around 20+ But YT used legal terms and simply deleted him. He's tried to appeal many many times but hasn't gotten anywhere. His channel was deleted back in September! He's worked on his channel for many many years, it's sad to see YT can simply just delete you and you can't seem to get anywhere with an appeal because it just seems your dealing with a bot.

Hi Ian! I have 3 channels on one google account. One channel is prone for copyright strikes and the other 2 are clean. This is BS My other KZread channel got terminated for spam last year, I tried contacting google and never got a response back! It wasn't my fault someone used my account and I never even got a warning at all, for some reason KZread only terminated my channel on desktop PC but not mobile?!! wtf is up with that I can browse and watch videos and even comment on mobile with my old account but not on the desktop! It doesn't make sense to me. Oh and when I try to login with my old account on desktop pc it locks me out of this account then I have to reset the web browsers cache just to log back into this account that I use all the time that isn't terminated wrongfully!

Yes they send you a letter to appeal but when you fill it out then try to put your URL with their suspension code on it, the you tube appeal will not send and you can't even make an appeal.....

For some reason my KZread account was terminated. All I do is look at posted videos. I can't figure out how to contact them. I tried that form you talked about but I don't know what the URL is. I am totally confused.

Valuable info to know and love how you mixed up your scenes...you're getting good at it:-) According to YT copyright strikes expire after 90 days, as long as you complete Copyright School. It used to be 90 days for community guidelines strikes also.

@@iancorzine​​⁠hi man… I literally just want to cry… I don’t know what to do. I am typing from my worst channel for safety at the moment. You gonna understand what do I mean at the end. I have, well HAD - 9 faceless KZread channels. Multiply niches, not related to each other. Never ever received any strike at any of them. I was working on them all day everyday for years. I did KZread for about 15 years in and out, but more for me as a diary then to make money out of it. Last 3 years after Covid I went all in with it. Reached 20k subs and 8mln views on my best channel within a year. I started with one channel, then started adding more to end up with 9 from 50 ( worst ) to 20k subs ( the best ) About 2 weeks ago I created a channel about fit girls at the gym etc cos the potential audience is massive for that type of content. I have seen multiply channels like that for example: LittyTokAfterDark. That’s how I got the idea and exactly something that I have created like a week ago. I made the channel at let’s say 7:00pm, uploaded all the graphics logos etc, posted first 3 shorts ( no nudity or anything like that, literally girls excercising in leggings exactly like that LittyTok channel with almost milion subs ), got no views on it and right away + I got an age restrictions on all of them. I was like: “can’t be asked for that, got enough channels to work on” so I simply left it like that and given up on this channel. Literally within an hour I received an email saying my account has been terminated bla bla bla - standard email. I was like: fsss, couldn’t care less, not a big deal. Carried on with my life and then TODAY two of my other channels got deleted ( you know as you want to relog you got a list of channels and two of them were basically blank just with it emails ) I was like what in the F…. Went back to the emails, started researching and I realised that I haven’t read that termination email fully and at the bottom it says that if one of you channels got terminated all your current channels and future channels will be deleted forever. I thought I’m gonna get a heart attack… now I PRESUME that all the other channels that I work on any given moment out of my 9-5 job including breaks at work will be deleted AND I cannot make a YT channel ever again in my life. My whole life and expenses for the last 3 years was all YT. MacBook Pro, IPhone 13, software, editing courses… it’s thousands of pounds… My whole life was just KZread trying to make it work and I did it ( you can imagine the amount of time needed to maintain 9 channels meanwhile working full time job ). It was literally YT, work and sleep. Nothing else. Now. Because every single channel is merged with other SIM card, email and a phone number I’m still hoping ( cos that’s only thing o got left ) that it will stop on these 3 deleted channel or at least all of them expect my best one - but I think we can both agree it’s not gonna happen. I didn’t contacted anyone from the support yet because when I opened the form it said to type your full name and I was worried it’s gonna this way ruin all my channels. *if I knew that if one of your channels got deleted you are banned forever and ALL your channels will be deleted I would have contacted support right away regarding to this 💩tty channel with 3 shorts and no views right away* but now it’s too late and I absolutely don’t know what to do… I just wanna cry over and over again or eat a packet of painkillers to end it all today. Should I contact them regarding to that first terminated channel? Or should I wait to see if other channels get banned too and then message them? I feel like no matter what I will do will make it worse. Please man help me… I literally beg you… I’m just walking around my apartment sweating and shaking this is literally all I worked on and all I was planning my future with ( got already not even plans but content MADE, for 2 new channels that I was just about to launch ) If I lose it all and on top can’t even create a new channel anymore in my life I will just end myself cos there is no point to live for me anymore. I haven’t got a family, my parents died when I was 18 and now this. I’m done.

I am so sorry to hear about your channel. YT is really cracking down on anything that even remotely resembles a copyright infringement. The best thing to do is to reach out on Reddit and share your story with them and see if someone can help. A lot of creators are having the same problem that you are. One of my 3 KZread channels just vanished. It was a podcast and I'm not sure what happened. I never had any strikes or issues with it. What could have caused it to disappear?

My account was terminated on January for repeated community guidelines i have tried to appeal to no avail since😭 how can i go about it

KZread terminated my channel just a few hours back. I got a mail saying that my channel was linked to an account which was suspended due multiple copyright strikes. Now what do I do ? That channel has nothing to do with this one which I own.

I know it can be very frustrating when you put so much work into your channel and then to have it taken down. 😭 KZread has really been cracking down on anything and everything that doesn't abide by their rules and guidelines - AND lately it seems they are not even giving the creators notice or a chance to correct their mistakes. I have been referring creators to Reddit to see if they can help. Reddit seems to have more knowledge and resources that may be able to help you. Good luck AND thanks for watching. 👊😁

Hey there Ian! Great video! My story is that I am just a regular guy working a 9-5 job. I was looking for a way to make some passive income online and I came across an affiliate marketing video instructing me to create a KZread Channel, and add a couple of videos on weight loss. I added those videos just like the KZread video said to do, and the next day, KZread terminated my channel. I'm so lost as to what to do, as I'm fairly new to this whole thing, but I would love to be able to get my channel back. I appealed the termination, to no avail, as they reinstated the suspension/termination of my channel. I have no clue as to what to do now.

The Gary Shipman Art Studio channel was hacked. It's been almost 2 weeks and Gary hasn't been able to get it back. KZread was trying to help, but I don't know what happened?

I'm curious....why does your family need to make videos or your account will be terminated. I'm really confused. ❓❓

Im not sure what happen I just woke up this morning, went to KZread and it asked me to sign in. At that moment I was worried because maybe someone tried to hack my account or something but I still signed in. After that it told me to change account so I did then I noticed that my account was banned. I got an email saying it got disabled or something like that. I tried to appeal it but than I got an email saying my account is still active. I already know that but I wanted to know when can i get my channel back.

Wow this was a great video. Really has me thinking 🤔 and trying to figure it all out. I wish there was clearer specifics from their emails. It’s so vague and not specific to any video and frustrating. Just uploaded three private educational training videos for internal systems and process training and then a few days later got no warning but indicating “harassment”!?!? So confused. I’ll have to go back and review the transcript, but wow. These emails seem so vague. It’s like a cop pulling you over and arresting you, but giving no reason or details why.

I had a channel back when i was 10 years old, i set my date of birth (i was using my mother's birth date before) and KZread deleted my account for being underage. It's been almost 4 years now and i'm trying to find a way to get it back because i want to re-watch my old content and remember how i was like when i was younger

Oops!!! I hear this all the time. 😬 Accounts that were created by too young users are terminated. The red flag that KZread uses is when someone tries to change their birth date. This causes YT to look into the matter further and will suspend most accounts that lied about their age. It is against their guidelines and will result in termination. There is not much you can do about it. So sorry. 😥

How can we use metadata if the account was terminated? Cant log in. My account was terminated due to "Content that glorifies or incites acts of violence isn’t allowed on KZread". No video that I have posted ever once glorified or incited acts of violence. They don't specify what video caused the violation either.

My alt account got terminated without warning for a "severe abuse" of impersonation of a youtuber named flyingkitty, when all it copied was the profile picture and the "kitty" part of the name. My intent was not to impersonate him, and I have explained to youtube in many appeals already. Trusted flaggers don't work, and recovery hackers are scammers, so what else can I do?

I didn't even violate anything!? wtf!? I didn't get any sort of warning an now I'm here on my backup.

Figured it out!!!! One of my dumbass videos was a low effort meme with music over it. It was a png with music from Persona 5 Royal over it, and they’re notorious for taking down reuploaded music by them from channels with as little as 100 subscribers. Turns out they auto-reported my channel, which of course went through.

We have a free music channel that we have not been able to get back into. We didn't use it for a few years because we moved and didn't have wifi for a long time cuz of where we moved way out in Tennessee in what they call a holler which is a low place surrounded by lots of hills. So when we able to get a signal down here we could no longer get into our account but strangely enough this one was available without even making this channel ourselves. Do you have any advice about that. I've tried to contact youtube without anyone reaching out to me. We are in our 60's so we aren't very savvy with electronics, but if you can advise us it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Kay A.

My channel has been banned for over 6 months now , will it still wokr and how will I get the form?

My son’s channel was terminated and he told me that he lest to use the restroom and explicit content stating playing he was terminated that second he came back saw it playing and ended his stream then came to me for help.

My old channel that was gaining around 1,000 subscriber a week, and had 23,600 subs at the time when it was terminated falsely. KZread said it was terminated for an abusive copyright on other KZreadr who had stolen one of my video thumbnails without asking. According to USA Copyright laws I had full right to request the content be removed. I have been trying to get in contact with KZread Accounts team, or a trusted flagger for a while now, but they all seem to be busy or not able to help with the problem due to the current covid-19 going around. I'm not sure what the best way of going about this since the channel apply app doesn't seem to help people often. (Update): I got it back last june

my channel disappeared shortly after I failed to sign up for Google Workspace. I didn't realize my I was going to have to start paying them for my email account and my email disappeared. Yikes! That sounds serious. You shouldn't be scared but you should probably follow their direction. Since I don't know what your channel was about, it's hard for me to suggest why you received such a harsh reaction. There are certain guidelines that YT wants it's creators to follow and I assume you violated one or more of those guidelines. You may want to re-read their rules and see if that helps you to better understand.

Ian Corzine actually...I forgot one account I got three accounts Wiped from me...I was just Roleplaying in one of some streams...then Poof one of my rp accounts gone went to KZread sign out...then checked only My other accounts where there but the three I just created Poof gone like thanos snap

Since I don't know what your channel was about I could only suggest several reasons other channels have been taken down: 1) excess copyrighted material; 2) too violent; 3) they didn't like the name of your channel (which I doubt is the reason); 4) they didn't like the name of some of your videos; 5) spamming other channels where you try to re-direct people to different accounts; 6) etc. I can't restore your channel, but hopefully I have been able to help you understand a little bit better. Thanks for watching and I hope that somehow you get your channel back. 👊😁🤞

Hey my channel Got terminated for no reason. I can still access it but cant edit or upload videos. DONT KNOW WHY???

My channel has been terminated by violation guidelines and I do not know what is the reason.
