Started my cloud journey a little over a week ago. Always been interested in tech, never worked in it. I am currently taking a course for aws cloud architect now. I can honestly say I've never been so excited to sit down and learn something new. I dropped out of college a couple years ago because I felt stifled by having to sit in a classroom and learn arbitrary subjects I don't care about and pay thousands to do so (I did go the community college route before doing so, so I saved thousands there). We'll see what the future holds

Such brilliant and useful info. Loved and instantly bought the diagram, will be a big poster in my room that :) I am at the very start of building a cloud career and currently in a bootcamp which I personally think we just scratch the surface and still there are big gaps but MY GOD you delivered it well, you literally answered thousands of current questions and potential thousands that I never thought of asking. You are brilliant, carry on!!!

This is soo on point, thank youu. I'm new the industry and I've been inspired by you to dig deeper into Devops while learning on the job as a backend dev using TS & C#. Came from working as an amazon warehouse associate

You are easily one of the better channels on YT for guidance when it comes to breaking into cloud. I appreciate you taking the time to do this.

After attending a tech conference, I decided I really wanted to work in this field, and found your channel while researching. 04:00 this is so true. I live in Morocco and you couldn't even reach certain roles, especially engineering roles, if you didn't have a degree beforehand. I'm a computer science student on a cybersecurity internship but I have been getting more and more interested in cloud and devops, your channel is a gold mine of information!

Hey GPS, first thank you so much for the work and time you put to deliver to us all this content for free, 2nd, i am a self taught sys admin for the past 2+ decades. At the beginning of this year, i decided to shift into cybersecurity, and going deeper into it, i got convinced that i should specialize in cloud security, so what you are doing here is a great push for me, cant thank you enough, and 3rd you are so genuine and authentic in what you do, please keep it like that

Specific to me - I’m a tech recruiter, so moving into help desk isn’t really workable for me bc that’s a huge pay cut, any tips for getting that pro experience needed for a company to take me seriously?
