You inspired me to create content on youtube! I now make self-improvement videos because I learned that we need to think “how can I help someone?” Instead of thinking “I need to make videos to earn money” but I make my videos out of pure joy and happiness because I love creating videos and editing them. I hope everyone else succeeds!

I find the best way to build an audience is to hold one person hostage and tell everyone to pull our their phones and follow you. It's great, even the federal police have been following me.

i treat mine like my former business I always respond to fans I working really hard on my editing and it will pay off. He is so right about paying out for staff you don't need. I saw the biggest BS ever on here the other day some woman saying all youtubers have editors. I had to comment and say only one I subed to had editors and even then she has done this for 10 years. She also still does her own editing she only pays now and then,

Took me 8 months to get to 1k subs... made it to 15k in the next 6 months. People are sheep, that little number determines whether or not they will value u and deem it necessary to follow u. It only gets easier after that. Trust me.

I went from 800 to 2k subs in just over a week by figuring out Shawn Mendes' entire latest album the day it got released. By midnight I nearly had all the song lessons up on KZread, diagrams and interactive questions to engage viewers. Replying to every single comment, had good conversations and as Gary says, if there is a way to hack attention go for it. Thanks Gary.

Watching this again, and 05:58 onwards have never been more true. Haven't been on your channel for a few months, and was finally unpacking some boxes from our house move during lockdown and found CRUSH IT! in the baby nursery last night and read it has the bedtime story. Needless to say, back on here this morning and at 28 years old, under 32, it's true - and these words are exactly what I strive for (always reply to everyone i.e my only friends!) yet needed to hear it again! Thank you Gary, because my content is definitely horse shit and I definitely suck, but I absolutely love creating and documenting and I THANK YOU for helping me understand that I really never had to be afraid of starting to create. Most likely, no one will watch it anyway haha, but it brings me such a disproportionate amount of joy and sense of achievement when I've created a horse shit video about my thoughts and feelings and boring life. It takes a lot of humility to take a step back and start from Zero once you've built and grew a business in the last 16 years... It's great that you point that out because at times I feel hesitant to stick to rebuilding from scratch with 2 subscribers doing something i enjoy! it's very tempting to give into a salary in exchange of one's soul, but it takes a walk with my dog in Nature to make me realize that the pain of living humbly is worth going through to continue my entrepreneurial journey! @@intuitivemage Gary says that in the video.. I wouldn't call other people scuzzy coaches. If you don't like particular coach, move to different one, but focus on positive energy and serving your target audience (if an entrepreneur).

I don't have a self esteem coach, but I did teach self esteem in a program for people convicted of crimes. If they took my class the judge didn't put em in jail. Of course other people also took the course.

I'm learning too much from you 💯 I started listening and grinding what you ve said. Youre the guy 🙏

I just found this video, and this advice is priceless and more importantly timeless. The truth is so important, it’s gritty and interesting and most importantly engaging. I’ve got so much to work on with my business but staying true and consistent are some of my top goals.

Been stuck at 528/529 subscribers for like 3 weeks even after uploading everyday for the past 36 days..not gna lie i came to a point where it wasn't fun anymore..i felt burnt out..i wanted to quit. I was doing it for the wrong reasons..but now i think i will just make videos talking about what i want instead of what may have the most potential to blow.

To people worried about moving in with their parents cause their friends might make snarky comments: I'm 24 living at home and people don't care as much as you'd think. They likely won't judge you as much as you thought they would and why does it matter to you anyway?

Yeah except this economy crash didn’t have too bad of an affect on online content creators it kinda helped them in a way

Watching this it's hard not to feel like Gary Vee is speaking directly to you and kicking you into action. It's refreshing not to be given the same old sugar coated advice, sometimes you just need to hear it straight, and Gary's the man for that!
