What type of wheelchair do you have in your video? Is it really light to pick up? I ask because I am looking for a really light chair I can put in my front seat.

Can you please tell us what brand/model your wheelchair is?

Kinda insane how fast you’re able to transfer… no offence but you must be very light/short? or is that vehicle just really low and have a really wide angle opening door?

My chair is a Top End Crossfire, made by Invacare. I don’t think that model is made with armrests, but I’m sure Invacare makes chairs with armrests.

It's soooo difficult for me to get mine into my car. I got a Honda hrv and it's such a pain in the butt 😂

First off ... impressive!! I am trying to find a source for the small wheelchairs that I see in all these videos I'm in the USA. I hope that someone can point me in the right direction.

I bought this chair from Hands On Concepts (www.teamhoc.com), and I had a great experience. If you want insurance to help pay for it, you generally, have to go through a mobility company. A couple examples are NuMotion or National Seating and Mobility. They help with some things, but they can also be a big headache and challenge to work with, especially if you're particular about what kind of wheelchair you want.

Are the hand controls permanently installed into the car ? Have hand controls always been around ? If not how did you drive before they came about ?? P.S. Alondra is so stinking cuteeee

Hey! These are permanently installed, although they can be removed if we want to sell the car at some point. I also have some temporary hand controls that I can clamp onto pedals if I need to drive someone else’s car. I’m not sure how long hand controls have existed, but at least since I was old enough to drive. And yeah, Alondra is pretty adorable :)
