2:55 I actually take the Paseo De Los Heroes/Zona Rio exit in the right lane instead of Col. Federal. You take Paseo De Los Heroes/Zona Rio exit, and drive past Costco on the right. At the roundabout, take third exit onto the bridge, and on the left, you’ll see the ready lane. 4:55 you drive around the second roundabout ahead coming off the bridge, making a complete U turn, and at 5:02 you end up here at the ready lane. Simple, easier, and done

Going to playas is easy, coming back to the ready lane ...a nightmare ! So complicate ,no signs, worse if you go back at nighttime. Study the route carefully if you don’t want to get lost .

Thank you for the great directions. I followed them yesterday, Wednesday at 9pm and only took a 1/2 hour to cross. The only thing I didn’t like about the video was the background music🙉

Now if you cut like that, the cops will kick you of the line. I've seen it happen. One guy tried to bribe the cop but surprisingly the cop did not take the bribe. Good video though. The one that is more confusing is the one at the Mesa de Otay.

These directions are accurate to the point where you try to get into the ready lane. That is where its blocked off and cant get in.

I have been continuing past the zona Rio exit and staying on the main road through Tijuana. If I follow these instructions, why is it better? Is the drive shorter or the line? I usually get to tj at 1:00 AM and worry about getting lost at night but willing to risk it if it makes sense. Thanks for the feedback

I used to take this route but I can't rely on it anymore. I have run into cops that block the Colonia Federal ramp so I end up having to go a different way. the last time I ran into one I asked him why he was there and I hadn't seen them before. the cop said he has to stay there to control the flow of traffic when theres too much. He said if I had a medical pass he would let me go through :( I prefer your route but is there another easy way to get there and avoid the Colonia Fed ramp? Thanks!

Christina Mine same thing happened to me, really pissed me off because I ask that cop who block me how to get to the other lane and completely ignore and told me to get back to the line. The vendors from the border line told me how to use the other lane, when I got to the lane where you don't need a pass the vendor went up to me when he ask me for a tip I was going give him a 50 pesos tip since I was stuck in the traffic there couldn't drive away and insisted it was 10 dollars until I gave him the money then told me to help him out with those 50 pesos, I have them those extra 50 pesos to leave me alone and I was worried since I was in the middle of the traffic I couldn't drive away from him and risk he will brake my can windows or slash my tires in the middle of the traffic and thinking if I can get help from the American Homeland security to file a report and press charges if it ever happens.

If your coming from down town Rosarito its a straight shot to the sentri lanes going on the old road.not so many turns just a few stop signs

i only really cross every 12-18 months to surf. I have a global entry card. But my lazy friend only has a traditional passport. Can i play dumb and go in ready. and then say oops and hand them his passport? I go so infrequently I should be able to play dumb?

You made a u turn , and there was a sign that says no u turn , with usa plates don’t want to risk it

Many videos on how to get to the lane but none about how to get the pass

Its called a medical lane you get the pass if you see a doc or dentist or Vet. They sell the passes if you have had services done.

Cops block this crossing now miles down it sucks
