it is patched on my switch now i used to be able to do it. after all the DNS settings are in and saved it just connects like normal

hey what do you use for screen recorder on your windows 11 in your tutorials? (btw your videos are really helpfull!!)

I see some people saying it got removed from comments a month ago. Worked perfectly fine on mine. Just can’t access large websites like other streaming devices but sure comes in handy still.

I have the feeling that this will FINALLY lead to a vulnerability and softmod capabilities. Wishful thinking?

This has been since 2018 I think, and no vulnerabilities have been discovered by the web browser, and I think that cuz I remember seeing a video like this from 2019

@@Prestize yes I know, but u can’t just by the web browser, u need a clip and a specific switch with XAW in the series number, if u don’t have it, then u can’t.

i enter the dns and it just connects succsessfiully with no registration required, i press ok but no web browser appears

I wonder if this would have allowed access to xbox gamepass on the switch?

I know your trying to make this as easy as possible to follow, but I felt so brainless like a baby everytime you said "either tap on it with the screen or select it with A". I got on thos web browser a few mo ths after I got my switch years ago, and I thought it was amazing. I haven't tried it since and I recently tried it again, but it didn't work. I remember telling it to one of my classmates at school snd he didn't believe me. He said he talked to a gamestop employee who's aid there was no switch web browser, even though there was and still is.

Please find a vulnerability for a v2/ patched switch somebody.

@@blainelocklair i just cant find the courage to hotwire the hwfly/ picofly myself even tho i have microsoldering experience. Its like operating on a relative. Thats why it isn’t allowed. Im saving up for a mod tho and i hope i find somebody. Fingers crossed 🤞

I feel the pain. Plugged my SN into a checker website and it came back as ‘possibly patched’ so I bought my RCM jig and all the things I needed and waited like a kid for Christmas for it all to arrive. Went to mod it and it’s patched. 😖

Try going to the News section after

It's obvious the web browser was removed because too often there were too many exploits that used the web browser on multiple different systems.

With the new settings you can’t connect to Nintendo shop. You have to change to automatic to connect to Nintendo shop.

Just change DNS settings back to Automatic when you wanna go online

I hope that would let to the ability to jailbreak most of the switches

Agreed. Maybe, one day, there will be a web-based exploit discovered. Like on the Vita and older revisions of the PS4.

Ah, Netflix no longer supports silverlight or whatever it called it. So watching Netflix on the switch is a no no anymore.
