@@BMWM This is how good it is. I purchased 2 cars. 1x for driving back and forth to work & 1x for not work related which is my M3 Competition. I just can’t get off my M3 Competition, it is addictive & feels like a dream every time I’m driving it. It is too good to be true which I pinch myself every time I am driving it. Everyone takes photos of it or looks around it. Mesmerising. I appreciate BMW for this opportunity.

The M Compound brakes on my M4 G82 are squeaking so loud before stopping the car on low speed. I'm so ashamed every time. Everybody is looking. The dealer says it is normal he can't do anything on warranty. Do you have any tips?

In regular daily driving, the M3 competition compound brakes screech like a truck. It is so embarrassing when stopping at a light or a stop sign. Why is this the case? I have tried all of the above. Dealership says because those are performance brakes so they make that noise

It is because BMW uses high friction NAO pads so they bite hard in all conditions and temperatures. To temporarily silence them you can try washing the wheels and brakes well which seems to help for me for a day or two, or brake hard a few times from moderate speeds. However, it will just come back quickly if you do a lot of light brake applications. The only permanent solution is changing pads to an aftermarket pad which can come with other compromises.

Probably going to need M "plus" brakes for the new M5. I am hearing it is going to be heavier than the i5 (full EV) and it will be longer and wider than a normal 5 series. I am going to take the wait and see before upgrading my '21 M5 Comp.

everyone who complains of their squeaky M brakes doesn't drive it right. As stated put some heat into them and they will be just fine. The Oem brake dust well that's another issue

Hello to the guy from ///M! I've been wondering on what BMW to purchase and I would like your input (I cannot afford anything new, sadly). My choices are between either the E60 M5 because of the S85B50 or the F10 M5 because it is just overall a nicer car... What do you think and do you have any other recommendations which are in the same price range? I'm a BMW fan and I've been so since a very young age, I LOVE BMW. (I'll also ask the guy from the BMW channel, y'all coworkers? Ha!) Anyways, thank you for taking the time to read this!
Idk man everyone who owns a g20 3 series right now are needing to have the rear brakes replaced between 10-30k miles. I dont think this is going to help if we are to get new ones so often :P

New rule: No more posting M3 Touring b-roll shots until it's released in North America. Seriously, just do it already. You know it will be sold out, 1 allocation per dealer, and a commodity.
So dont brake heavily for first 1000 kms. Hmmm
So the advice is to use your bmw M on the road and avoid track because excessive braking will melt down the M brakes in no time So basically don't do that the video shows you. Gotcha

The amount of squeal from my M8 is absolutely unacceptable. I know “it is expectable” but it is obnoxiously loud and absolutely embarrassing day to day.
Bmw says in the manual that the car is not ready for track. But they make only movies like these. Shame on bmw!
Ok, now teach your designers how to make brutal, wild and beautiful GERMAN style cars again (I'm not about this cool M3)
