There is actually a nice trick to get to the highest gear you can get in missions. You need two sets of good armor: one for upgrading, one for fighting, you will switch the ones around once they are underleveled. So for this strat you need to play a level (better to use a boss mission because of the gear) exactly 10 times at the recommended difficulty. Then after 10 times playing, you can upgrade your gear, and it will become about 10 levels higher. You keep on doing this, till you are at apocalypse +25 😂.

Heres a good tip.Before you go to a level,put on the highest power level gear and artifacts you can.Then when you start it,put the ones you want to actualy use.Also before you finish that level,put the highest gear and artifacts you have again and then finish the level.The game will think you got higher level gear,so it will give you as well higher level gear.This works at least for apacolypse difficulty and if you play on the highest difficulty avalible.With this method grind soggy cave,the shortest map in game,and you will get results after some time.I tested it myself,and i still use this method.Hope it helps a bit.

You should focus on Ancient Hunt after 200, The max level you can get without any glitches is 265

I’ve been going for ancient hunts since I first started playing, hm, maybe I’ll put a stop to that and focus on grinding out the main missions/bosses until I’m a high level. I’m currently level 55, sold my inventory out for emeralds, and am rocking a 66-74 power level build… any tips? For a frame of reference, I went up against the Unstoppable Tusk and got 1 shot 4 times in a row lol.

Just focus on clearing the game on an adventure for now, Once done You will have Apocalypse unlocked, use the tower to get the highest possible gear ( 1 armor, Ranged Weapon & melee weapon ) once you have your hands on them, Unlock more difficulties in Apocalypse +. Tbh in Early game, potion barrier, final shout, snowball These enchantment for armors are always good

Ancient hunts are not worth for items. Only for gold to reroll your 263 items from the tower

makes sense, but ancient hunts do get you xp, emeralds, gold, and sometimes with luck good items

But it’s easier to farm. Not everyone can play through the tower that easily, so ancient hunts offer a great alternative solution.
