how is this helpful? Is there a weekly ticket like in the regular metro?
if I buy a €10 ticket for a Malaga train between, for example, Fuengirola-Malaga, can I also board in, for example, Benalmadena and stay at the plaza mayor, or does the ticket have to be used only at selected stations?

You can use it between any stations of Malaga, regardless of the stations you chose when you bought it. ;) That's the best part!
How change language to English?

I believe the app is installed in the same language as your phone; I don’t see any place to change it!
