I was a child of many abuses. I get depressed very often, and I already wanted to kill myself, but your technique saved my life. I never thought that ice would take away so much pain and thank you and God. I personally thank you, Angel.

I have been trying 1 to 2 mins of cold showers at the end of my routine ... I have to say my body has adapted nicely over the past year of doing this and over the course of summer in Finland I was the only one to be able to easily swim in the really chilling lakes (even in summer) while my friends called me a crazy ... and last time I manged a good 1 hour of swimming and relaxing alrough I was numb after a few mins lol ... Thanks Wim for sharing this with me

It only took a couple of days to get to 2 minutes for the cold shower. The pool water is very cool now, and I do not have issue staying there for no less than one hour. I can feel the sun on one side on the raft and then I turn to the other side and repeat. This is so wonderful and I know I can do this because of Wim, thank you.

To the ones struggling with cold plunges, i found a hack! I tried go straight to cold showers and it shocked my system so bad, i thought i m gonna have a heart attack, couldnt to it... I was thinking, your body has to acclimate to the cold, so then i went outside our backyard, being winter, its like -1/-5 outside and its like a slo mo getting used to the cold, in shorts for 10 minutes, then straight hopped in the shower, tap water is like 10 degree celsius and it was a walk in the park compared to going straight, no prep work. So try it this way, being outside in cold air, or perhaps empty cold freezer and get your body acclimated to it for a couple of minutes, then the cold plunge. Stay icy!

So for ice bathing you basically do the WHM but backwards? Like when you do the breathing as wim says you breathe in fully and then let go not all the way out just fully in let go for the end and so on... So with the ice bath you do fully out and normal breath in??

I dont need the wim hof method anymore an i never get tired. Always infinite. I can easily hold my breath for 10 mins without any rounds of this technique. Sure i used to use it. But theres such a thing called eating your species specific diet. An you wouldnt believe the power. Im like golden freeza. Lmao 🤣 how the body was meant to function.
