We slept on these rollers or similar EVERY night. No one had hand held dryers, hot rollers, or curling irons. One friend I had in high school used soup cans (clean of course) to try to straighten her short very curly hair. Things have definitely improved for styling hair since the 1960's.

My mom was telling me that her grandmothers and aunts in Puerto Rico used to use the small Vienna sausage cans to curl their hair. The heat in Puerto Rico would help give curls. Hot rollers essentially lol.

Can you please do a video of the products you like, especially the mousse? And maybe the order you apply them?

Instead of texturing stuff you can use redken big blowout, it's a heat protectant and adds texture too

Take care coz rollers pull ur hair from the sculp for a long time so after using them for 2/3 months u will notice that ur hair is getting thinner bthan b4 , thats my personal experience

@@petramilanovic3434 Yes. I had pretty straight hair my whole life. Straight enough that I had to work to get any curl. Around 50, I started going through peri-menopause. I used to just wash my hair at night and let it air dry. I started noticing that it was getting sort of wavy and then wavier. I did some research and found a lot of info on curly hair so I changed some things in my routine and by the end of the year I ended up with the curls you see now. That was 6 years ago. I hear this is very common.

Basically roots or hair mousse volumniser is applied either to roots or just whole hair .. its made of polymers which don't allow the scalp to absorb excess moisture and helps hair to have the bouncy look :) Hope this helps

عشان تضبط معك ياقلبي.. ١-لازم يكون شعرك ستريت ٢-واذا جيتي تلفين المكر خلي الشعر يكون حاررر وحاولي تفتحين مقاطع ف اليوتيوب او التيك توك ابحثي كيف الف المكر بطريقه مضبوطه عشان يضبط وحاولي تلفين نفس لفهم بالضبط ٤-بعد ماتلفين خليها دقيقتين تبرد بعدين بخي سبريه وخليه ثلاث دقايق وفكيه بطريقه مرتبه عشان يضبط واذا ضبط علميني❤

Omg I hate it when people take out their rollers incorrectly!! You’re supposed to TWIST it out of your hair. If you simply yank it out, it loses all of its curl pattern 😞

Velcro rollers never work for me. I do what your doing but with hot rollers. Then I actually have body and a little curl that lasts more than 1 minute.

A major factor is that her hair is actually not that long. You cant t use rollers on very long hair.

that's way too much product and will weigh down your curls and flatten them, a mousse with heat protectant and hairspray is plenty.

I used toilet paper tissue in county jail and it’s worked better than any rollers out here . Weird huh
