This is my fifth year after retirement. I’e been following the 4% rule thing I saw on a youTube channel, but this isn’t really how hard I expected things to be. After I cashed out a lump sum, I still have about $760k left, but at this rate, and with how the market is (we were putting money away in an index fund), I’m starting to get really worried.

It’s amazing you were able to save that much during your active years. Not a lot of people are able to save that much in a lifetime. But now you are retired and depend on your investment, it’s best you redistribute your capital, so you are not left devastated during a market crash or recovery. To simplify the process, you could allocate your resources with the help of a financial advisor.

Yeah, I’m also closing in on retirement, and I have benefitted much from using a financial advisor. I didn’t really start early, so I knew the compound interest of index fund investing would not work for me. Funny how I pulled in more profit than some of my peers who have been investing for many years.

Well, there are a few out there who know what they are doing. I tried a few in the past years, but I’ve been with ‘’CATHERINE MORRISON EVANS’’ for the last five years or so, and her returns have been pretty much amazing.

I have 2 questions to ask you 1- how does that $100 threshold move? My threshold shows $0.00. I have 2.5 million views + 26k subscribers. I received my pin code for Adsense, entered the code, checked my phone number and address but I still get $0.00 for all boxes. I just don't understand what else I have to do for the $100.00 threshold to start moving. It's been one week now since I entered the pin code. 2- I don't have a website. Do I have to have a website and enter their code on every page in order for adsense to pay me? I don't understand this and I can't find the correct answer anywhere. Please help me with this. Thank you

Hey. Don't look in AdSense to see earnings. It doesn't show there. Just look in KZread Creator Studio to see your earnings. You don't need a website to setup AdSense to pay you for your KZread views. If it asks you to enter a URL, just put your KZread channel page in

Consistency really is the main thing you have to do if you wanna make it. Make sure your uploading at least 2 times a week when you start, it helps wonders!

Quality video ! Think you could also explain how to understand how the CPM varies from a country to another ? Cause the link in your description just explains the threshold and not everyone has a good understanding of the CPM rate.

Hi Greg, you should do a video on ads... do you get paid if someone skips the ad versus if someone watches the ad, is there a price difference if the ad is 30 seconds versus those annoying ads that are 4 minutes, and the 10 second ads you can’t skip on... I always wonder why some people will put one ad at the end of their video to say 10 ads in a video. Love your channel, very informative, all the best :)

i think it's bc of this....people who want to make money with adds, asks a person, like greg, if he will consider putting his adds in. Greg says yes, and the person pays him every month for him to put his adds in. How much money, depends on both of them. But I don't think it's under 100 $.

Hmm just had a look, few quick pointers: 1) change your thumbnail style. There's a lot going on with them at the moment and it's hard to know where to look (they're abit cluttered). Simplify them a bit more so the viewer is overwhelmed and put off 2) music is quite loud on your videos. Reduce the volume so you can hear you talk easier 3) take out "HENRYS VIDEO GAME REVIEWS" from the start of the title of earch video and put it to the end. People can't see what the video is about without having to read that first, and most people won't bother reading past that first bit Good luck!
