Returning dress personally is both a courtesy & show of gratitude. priceless yun para sa designer. Tama si Nicole kase kase different designers have different brands at specialties when it comes to techniques at easthetics. You cannot push something na hindi ginagawa ng designer. Sa case ni Catriona, she already knew the styles, techniques & aesthetics ni Mac Tumang. She just directed the main vision concept, extra push sa process & Mac harmoniously worked with her. Nasabi ko to when i watched narrative ng process nila from concept brainstorming to execution.

That's true!! I'm also an artists and I would feel insulted in a way if my clients are too hands on on what they want to achieve sa result. Revisions everyday Kasi Hindi satisfied. Even in the end pag na achieve na. The artists is no longer happy because it's not his style Ang lumalabas sa result. It's the result of full of suggestions. Thank you for that!!! I always tell this to my clients too before I start making a deal with them. Can you please see my creations first before you pay me because some are just being referred by acquaintances. Without seeing the works.

I really admire you posting this. This helps aspiring girls to step-up their game in pageantry.

As a pageant girl myself I've collaborated with a few local designers here in mya town and all of what Nicole mentioned was very true and I usually do these as well. Kasi aside from the fact na I am into pageants I sometimes design some of my dress and outfits. I think yung mga namention is a sign of respect to the designer's efforr and creativity.

Im just curious, do the girls also pay for their evening gown and natio? I mean i know the gowns are really expensive and beauty pageants now are for the priveleged since hindi bironang mga gastusin. Or do the designers lend them their gown and just get it back after the pageant

Normal practice is no, we don’t pay..kasi usually nabibili ang gown from the designer or celebrities use them hehe. But may mga nababalitaan akong girls who offer to pay what they can kasi nahihiya sila. But minsan sa ganyang setup, nagkakalabuan kasi you don’t pay enough to keep the dress but the designer can still sell/lend it to others?
