Hello Teacher Cook! I hope you are well! Thank you so much for these amazing helpful videos. I'm on Preply for about 4 months now. My teaching journey started of as a hobby . I'm absolutely loving it and want to do it full time. I have a few regular students and want to send them a link to my profile so that they can recommend me to their friends and family. I'm not very tech savy, please can you guide me on how to do this link? I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi there, thanks for the kind words. If you view your own profile on Preply, all you would need to do is copy that link and send it to your student who can then pass it on to their friends and family that she wants to recommend you to. Hope this helps.

Hi there, I definitely don't recommend this feature. I feel like most students through this feature have lots of requests from other tutors too. I would only use it as a last resort. I would personally recommend either making your profile stand out from the crowd a bit more or reducing your price slightly and seeing if this helps gain any new students.

Hi Bogdan, the fact that you're certified is definitely a massive plus and often students will prioritise a teacher who is TEFL certified over one with experience. My tips would be to present your own techniques and methods in your video or on your profile. There are thousands of other tutors on Preply, you need to be able to stand up somehow. There's no need to repeat the same stuff that everyone else has on their profile.

Nonetheless, I appreciate your answer, but since I wrote the initial message a lot has changed and I am in really good position now where I have regular students and due to the great reviews I got, I managed to increase my rate to a decent amount per hour even after comission. So, thank you for the videos they helped me a lot when I began my preply journey.
